Summertime also includes many West Yellowstone events such as the National Park marathon and half-marathon runs through picturesque trails.
As winter blankets the region, embrace the wonder of West Yellowstone's winter activities. Big Sky Ski Resort awaits less than an hour away for world-class skiing. Within Yellowstone, delight in snowcoach tours, guided snowmobile trips, cross-country ski trails, and snowshoeing. Outside the park, explore over 35 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the Gallatin National Forest. Getting Around: A car is required in order to get around West Yellowstone and surrounding areas. In the winter, a vehicle with AWD is HIGHLY recommended!
Other Things to Note: In the winter, access to snowmobile trails is accessible at the end of the road via a trailhead. It is critical that all motorized vehicles remain on driveways or roads as the entire neighborhood runs on septic systems that are in the "yards" of the cabins.
In the summer, this is a horseback riding trail. ATV trails can be accessed via a trailhead off the main highway.

This was a great home base for our family to explore Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons National Park. We also enjoyed the town of West Yellowstone.

We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us and welcome you back in the future!
Location was amazing for Yellowstone National Park and the cute town of West Yellowstone. The house was a decent size for our large family. The showers are a bit tight and the rug on the stairs could use a deep clean. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
Perfect spot for our group of 14. Everything was clean and comfortable! We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets from the front porch and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great spot for our "too short" trip to Yellowstone!

We had an amazing time and the house was very well stocked and organized. It was very convenient to the West Gate Entrance and the hot tub was a great perk! The hosts were quick to respond and the view from the porch was our favorite! Having so many bathrooms was also an added perk! Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay!
This is a great place to stay. We have gone a lot of places through VRBO and this place is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. The downstairs has brand new flooring and the kitchen is newly remodeled. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever return to the Yellowstone area.
