We did not have a pet, but there were many in the area, including two miniature ponies. Shops nearby as well as many restaurants in Madison Valley and Madison Park. Friendly owner, and nice neighborhood. Ideal for our two month stay.
This was such a lovely place to stay and Marie was easy to work with, and even got a desk for the place so I could comfortably work from home. Internet worked well, and the property was as pictured. The neighborhood was quiet, while also being relatively close to lots of things, especially the arboretum. The beds were comfortable, we were happy to have ample medicine cabinet space, a bidet, and the rain showerhead was a delight. We were also happy to be able to bring our 2 house rabbits on our extended trip, it made life so much easier.Only downsides are the back stairs. With tall narrow steps, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with mobility issues. Also, lots of folks parking on both sides of the street make driving through the neighborhood somewhat right. If you don't like parallel parking, We'd recommend paying the parking fee to park around the alley in back of the property.Caveats aside, I'd happily live at Marie's place--or at least stay there next time I'm home for a visit.
