We stayed in September 2026. Room has a drip coffee pot, and a Keurig in the cabinet. Host wasn't sure, so we brought our own Keurig (unsure if the one in the cabinet works). Not sure if the listing noted, but we should have brought our own beach towels, and extra room towels since housekeeping isn't included. Beach chairs are available for rent, but we brought our own. Location was great and not over crowded on a holiday weekend. Balcony with ocean view was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. The room and resort were clean and we will try to stay here again.

This unit was perfect for my wife and I for a long weekend getaway. Island Vista and a great place to relax and enjoy life away from the daily grind. The room was clean, no smells and our overall experience was excellent. We will be returning in the near future!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and very relaxing to wake up to each morning. The bed was very comfortable and made it easy to rest and unwind after a long day. Hotel was very nice. Pool and dining was great. Ocean view perfect. Overall the room itself needs cleaned better, mold remediation in the shower, cleaning of the baseboards of the dirt and hair, furniture and bedding particularly need updated.

My family and I have stayed at Island Vista multiple times. The property itself was great, as always. However, this room was a bit if a let down. Some issues i read in reviews from 2-3 years ago, still dont appear to have been addressed. The front door is very difficult to open, as is the balcony door. There is only one nightstand, which is inconvenient if you have a c-pap or just need a charging spot or lamp. There could easily fit a small table and chairs in the room but there is not. The balcony table is too small to really eat on. The bathroom sink would not drain and the shower has no shelf. You can see where a shelf probably used to be, but is no longer there. There was no rod in the toilet paper holder and the mini fridge leaked. Some of these are minor issues, but when paying a lot to stay in a nice place, you expect better. Over all, i would stay here again just for the hotel itself, but i would hope these issues would be addressed. Most are not big issues, no reason for them to not be addressed for the past 2-3 years!

Myrtle at it's Best

Loved the location, the view and the hotel. Chose this hotel as a warmup before heading to the caribbean and it did not disappoint. Small enough to accommodate a short stay, but delivers quality ocean views with access to all of the hotel amenities. Would definitely come again!

Great room & location

The room was satisfactory for a short stay. However, the room needs a bit of maintenance. The shower needs a replacement shelf to hold toiletries & one outlet is very worn & needs replaced. Other than that, it is very clean & good for a short stay.

The view is great. A furnished studio, it is not.Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and 4 cups and the ā€œkitchenā€. Studios typically have seating for the guests. This has one chair!It would be better advertised as a bedroom lockout with microwave and small refrigerator.

Weekend getaway

The resort itself was nice & the unit was priced pretty fairly for unit condition & season. However, the unit is in need of some minor repairs like paint & loose trim & thereā€™s no shower shelf for toiletries. Also the coffee pot was not functioning properly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations were terrible. No shelf in the shower to put shampoo or soap on; shoe molding loose on the floor; no dresser to set anything on; 2 filthy chairs on the balcony and one was broken.
