In the main house, there is a chef grade kitchen with a Wolf 6 burner range, Bosch refrigerator and every utensil and herb/spice you might need. In the main house is the master bedroom. This bedroom features a large glass window with a door to the ocean side deck. From the bed you can see the ocean - sunrise, moonrise, and just watch the ebb and flow of the tides. There is a desk, if you need to work, and high speed internet. The master bath, features a large tub witha view of the ocean, and a separate shower. On the other side of the house, is a mudroom and half bath. The main house is conected to the guest house by beautiful ipe walkways and granite steps The guest houses features two bedrooms both with Queen beds, and a full bath. There is a entrance area with a crib/youth bed. The house has every amentity you would need, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and WiFi. Hard to believe you are in such a remote location! . About the host

Hosted by Sheep Thief Gulch

Host profile image
This dream home was built so that we could be immersed in nature. The ocean, the woods, the lake and privacy. This is the perfect place to retreat for solitude or with friends and in our dark skies to gaze at the wonders above.

Why they chose this property

Although our home is on a 'remote' island, the island community is welcoming. In town is a Coop food store, where you can catch up on news, local lobster men and women with a text can meet you at the days end to pickup your own lobster, Plus, nature abounds. Daily hiking, swimming and biking are part of life on the island. In the summer the town hall has a wonderful library and frequent events: dances, lectures, yoga classes.

What makes this property unique

Sheep Thief Gulch offers solitude of nature, with all the creature comforts you might need. Plus - the house is tastefully furnished to make your gathering hardly rustic!
