Scandinavian Style 3-bedroom cabin in delightful Soda Springs with WiFi

Family Friendly Renovated cabin located across from Soda Springs Mountain Resort. Close to Donner Lake and Truckee.

In the summer enjoy hiking trails, Van Norden Meadow, and several lakes including Donner Lake within a 10 minute drive.

In the winter, go to any of the 4 ski resorts 3 miles or less from the cabin.

15 minutes from Truckee and only 30 from Lake Tahoe.
The space
This peaceful space in the Sierras was originally built in 1950 and renovated into a family friendly Scandinavian style retreat. Skip the crowds and traffic by staying in Soda Springs, right outside Truckee.

Key Pads on doors for entry. Code will be provided for stay.
Other things to note
Cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 6 bed home. Bedroom 1 is on the main floor, all other beds are on the second floor. The two single beds are located in an open loft common area on the second floor.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Checkout Time: 10:00 AM Gather used towels: Place used towels in front of the washing machine. Linens may stay on beds. Turn things off: Please turn off all lights, appliances and heaters
Place garbage in the bear box at the end of the driveway. If the snow is blocking it, please use the snow shovels to access. Trash day is Monday. There are also dumpsters along Donner Pass Road.
Lock up: Yale: Press and hold down YALE button to lock door Eufy Lock: Code and hold down check button to lock The Back door is tricky, hold the handle up when locking.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any guests exceeding 10 or unauthorized will be asked to leave the premises. If rules are broken, reservation will be cancelled with no refunds.
Travel Insurance is recommended. You are traveling to the Sierra Nevada Mt. Range so weather happens, storms are not grounds for refunds..

Wonderful Mountain Home

We loved our stay in Soda Springs. The house was beautiful and charming and had everything we needed. The proximity to Sugar Bowl was also great. Loved our stay here and hope to come back.

Beautiful place near Sugarbowl

Great stay with 2 families. Kids loved the yard for playing in the now. House is just a short drive to Sugarbowl and well stocked with everything you need. Would stay again!

Beautiful property in central locatioln

Very prestine home with plenty of space and fully stocked kitchen with great, high end appliances. 6 minute drive from Sugar Rush where we went tubing and just up the street from the general store which had most necessities. Host was very accommodating to our needs. Would stay here again.

Perfect Ski Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Its location near the ski spot was incredibly convenient—just a short distance away. Amber was super responsive and always reachable, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend this property for a cozy and hassle-free ski trip!

Excellent stay

Beautiful home close to the mountains for easy drive back and forth from skiing. The house is comfortable and well stocked with attention to every detail from appliances to soaps and towels. Bedrooms are spacious and clean, and the interior decor is well done. Everything you could ask for!

Well-appointed with all the appliances and furniture you need for a comfortable weekend with family and friends. Nice layout that provides separation between social and sleeping areas. Great mudroom space and covered front porch. Minutes from skiing and general store.
