Great stay. The home is on a quiet street with low car traffic. The location is walking distance to many shops and 10-14min walk to downtown waterfront area. Host was great and very responsive. Traveled with dog.
We had a great experience- the rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed— the host was great to work with and the location was within walking distance of historic homes and a coffee shop. Would definitely recommend this VRBO if you’re in the area!!
Our host, Sarah, was excellent and always available to answer questions. The location of the home is close to the water and downtown Wilmington. All necessities were available to make the stay great. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely stay
Thank you for a lovely stay. Perfect location for what we needed.
My husband, mom and I had a great experience on this property. It was close to our visiting destination, super clean with everything needed, quiet and a place to sit outside. Would definitely stay again.
It was a great place to stay. Close to all things you need with either a quick drive or walk. Quite area as well. Overall 10/10!!! Loved the big bathtub and wife loved the shower seat! Definitely worth the price!

Thanks for your review! We would love to host you again in the future.
Host was helpful and quick to respond back when I had questions. House was in a quiet neighborhood. The lot beside the house did have construction happening while we there but it wasn’t too rough. Street parking only.
House is inviting with nice furniture. Will be nice on a warm weekend with the eating area on the deck. Hopefully the work on the house next door will be finished soon. Middle bedroom bed frame is broken. Mattresses and bedding are nice. House is very clean. A Keurig and sugar/creamers would be lovely. There are some book/toys/games for kids. Could use a sidewalk or pavers from the street. Very close to a street with coffee shop, restaurants, thrift and record store. And a putt-putt bar! Convenient to riverfront restaurants and shops.

Hi Julie, thank you for the review! We hope you can visit us again during warmer weather. The construction next door is anticipated to complete by mid-January. The bedframe came unscrewed so this has been repaired. We don’t have a keurig, but we do supply the drip coffee maker with complementary coffee and sugar.
This is a really nice house, it was built in 1903, so consider that, the floors are not perfectly level things are not perfectly square. It is really super nice thought. There is a nice front porch, a really nice back deck and the kitchen is more than adequate. The bathrooms are small, but certainly service able. There are some slight maintenance things like the mini blinds could stand to be replaced and closet doors fixed so they don't come off the tracks. We had five people staying in the house and there was not a lot of seating for socializing or eating. It could use a few more chairs in the kitchen and living room, cause there is more than enough space for six people. The kitchen as all the essentials, but found we were constantly looking for another glass or plate so think about that if you are planning on making meals and such. It is an easy 15 min walk downtown though, to sooooo many restaurants and other places. The beds are soft, pillows are soft, there is really no other place than the floor to put your suitcase, so some trunks or luggage racks would be really nice. only a full length mirror in the main back bedroom. There was a really nice desk area, complete with a laptop stand and second monitor for remote work, and really strong Wifi. Only on street parking but the street is super quiet with very little traffic. Only a traditional coffee maker, no Keurig. We would definitely stay again.
We had such a fun time staying in the heart of Wilmington. The house was perfect for 3 girls- we each had our own bedroom. The living room was cozy for late night chatting! We walked to dinner and/or brunch to enjoy the vibe of downtown. And only had a 20min drive to the beach! Much thanks to the hostess!
The location is close to everything. The inside of the house is very nice but the outside needs some curb appeal. Would be nice to use the off street parking area.
The place was very clean and beds were great. Its needs done nice touches. Kitchen was adequate , very nice space but dishwasher needs updating. I had to reinstall half the door gasket to use it. Bathrooms are nice. Outside was a mess due to construction next door. Front steps could use some fixing up, 2x4's as railings should be fixed up. Host was responsive about a lighting issue.

Hi Therese, thanks for the note on the dishwasher. This has since been replaced. Also, noting that we expect construction to wrap up mid-January.
I loved the safety of the big fenced yard for our dogs. The house was more than adequate for our purposes (attending a wedding). I was surprised by the VRBO fees; I should have read the small print

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it is a quiet street with friendly neighbors, yet is around the corner from local shops and restaurants on Castle St and a short walk to the heart of downtown. Its central location in downtown Wilmington feels safe and peaceful with plenty to do within walking distance.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique given its extensive yard accommodations and fencing for having dog guests. The home is recently renovated with new flooring, cabinets, bathroom vanities, tile and more. You won’t find many like it available downtown!
