Great location!

Easiest walk directly across the street to the ski rack and cut through between two houses to Northside lift. We're picky about being ski-in, ski-out and had a green-only skier with us and this was perfect. Great location. Huge comfortable living room couch for all of us to relax and watch a show after a big day.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well appointed & clean. Great location. The second primary bedroom upstairs needs blackout shades, currently only has sheers. Very big windows & very bright in early am. Otherwise house is a great set up for 2 families. Would definitely stay here again.

Deer Valley/Empire Pass perfect!

This home was perfect for two families to share. We loved our stay! It was great being just steps away from the bottom of Hawkeye, both during and after the ski day. The kids took full advantage at the end of the day to sled, and the adults loved the ease of ski in/ski out. The home was beautifully decorated and supplied, the bedrooms were comfy, the hot tub relaxing, and the location at Empire Pass perfect. The ability to bunk the kids on the bottom level while the parents occupied the third was great. The ski/boot/shoe storage in the garage was well thought out and helped keep the main floor from getting cluttered with coats/shoes. While the amazing technological appointments were impressive, without a detailed guide it took us all a few days to figure them out. Also, it would have been lovely to have had a vacuum or broom/dustpan available to tidy up after ourselves and help keep such a nice home in order. But, those were small obstacles outweighed by a cozy open main floor that allowed all of us to gather in front of the fireplace, play a mean game of Scrabble, and watch some NCAA basketball. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a fun week in your beautiful home.

Property is physically great--location, amenities, decor, but staying there is an electronics battle

Ski-in/ski-out claim apparently meets Utah law, and is satisfactory. But the home is an electronic nightmare. It has an advanced lighting system that is a mystery most of the time, the living room fireplace, included in the electronics, didn't work until maintenance came around 2 times in eight days to fix it. The fireplace flue would not close letting a vigorous breeze of six degree cold chill into the living room (the flue is approx. a 10" opening) and the furnace couldn't keep up so the room was cold all the time the first 2 days we were there. The kitchen sink disposal switch only worked 75% of the time. There were interior privacy screens on most of the windows in the living room, but we could not figure out how to operate them. The first call to the mgt. company netted bad instructions, as these were part of the electronics maze, and the maintenance guy showed us how to operate them (we had been directed to the wrong remote). The front door appeared to be locked and unusable, it was just very hard to open--the maint. guy suggested we not use it, which meant we had to open the garage door for all entry and exit--and there was no remote for that door so it involved continually opening and closing the door with 7 people resident in the house. The bottom tray in the dishwasher did not stay on the track (not the owner or mgt. company's fault, but bizarre bc the dishwasher was supposedly an expensive one). The overall problem in most of these cases was a lack of basic instructions. There are probably 10+ different remotes in the home but not a single instruction sheet for any of them. There are six TVs in the house, and these are 3 or 4 different brands, but no individual instructions, so it was a battle to watch TV. There are probably 8 different lighting system wall plates with 4 to 6 options on each one, and once you begin to play with them you can mostly get them to do what you want them to do, but it is neither a quick nor convenient system. Again, no instructions, so all trial and error--with more error than success. The home is very nice to be in, a nightmare to live in--all of which could have been resolved by simply leaving a few instructions out. Stupid. There are more things, but you get the idea. I would rent any of the homes but with a caveat that that I want a personal valet o teach me how to do so comfortably. The living room was unliveable until maint. came and fixed the flue and the gas fireplace starter, etc.

It was a great home....50 steps to slope across the street. The mattresses need replacing too soft all beds. Every person mentioned the same...needs new mattresses. Also the TV'S a pain to turn on and turn channels. When we maintenance to help they never show up till the next day..too late to watch a movie the next day. Other than that the place is great!

GREAT PLACE!!

This townhome is wonderful, beautifully decorated and newly renovated. I just suggest to put some blackout curtains or at least some blinds in the bedroom windows, and a coat hanger at the house entrance. The clothes dryer didn't work well (even tough but said it was a ventless dryer,) it took two hours to dry a load. But, those are just mini details that can easily be worked out. This is an amazing property, and we will sure come back!! thanks a lot.

The decor and furnishings are comfortable and appealing. Location to the mountain is excellent. Kitchen is spacious and useable. The beds were cozy. We loved our stay!! Only drawback for summoner months is no A/C. It was extremely hot and no fans either. Excellent job on the remodel - very luxurious and we would highly recommend!
