Across the street is a sports bar and restaurant, a pizza and sub shop, a liquor store, a breakfast cafe, and a bakery. Within 2 miles are Harris-Teeter, Food Lion, Walgreens pharmacy, a water park, miniature golf, go carts, ice cream shops and Fisher's Popcorn!

Mallard Lakes has a $125 weekly amenities fee which includes pool pass for up to 6 people, parking pass, tennis and pickle ball courts and shuffle board court usage. This must be paid directly to Mallard Lakes upon checking in at the office near the front pool. Office hours are 10-6. The proceeds go toward keeping Mallard Lakes the beautiful, well maintained place that it is. There is also a 2 day for $25 and a 4 day for $45 if preferred.
