The property needs lots maintenance. All the fans were filthy. One bedroom kept tripping the breaker and nothing was plugged in. No cable in the livingroom. We called Friday night maintenance man couldn't come until Saturday at 4pm.

The townhouse is located right next to coastal highway. The window treatments for the bedrooms were broken - no privacy from coastal highway and bright lights at nighttime.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Your review took several weeks after your check out date to post, so we were not able to read your review until several renters have checked in after you. We would have been happy to help with any issue you had with the blinds, but there isn't much we can do about street noise on Coastal Highway. The unit was deep cleaned a few days ago including the fans and vents. There are only a few hours between renters from memorial weekend-labor day, so there will be more wear and tear towards the end of the season.

Great place! Great space for a large group! Heads up to bring extra trash bags, toilet paper, hand towels and paper towels to clean up messes. We only brought hand towels for bathroom and needed to buy more supplies once we were down there.

Unit definitely showed its age, and wasn’t really all that clean. Most shades were not operable, sliding glass doors didn’t lock, tv was not hooked up in one bedroom. Toilets were not very clean and one of the toilets had a wad of toilet paper upon our arrival.

To start, the house was terrible. It was very dirty, the toilet leaks, half the cabinets are broken in the kitchen, the fridge smelled awful and was dirty.. the A/C barely workedThe host never responded to any of our messages… I wouldn’t recommend this house to anyone. I’d give it a 0 stars if I could

Thank you for your feedback, but the only correspondence received from you was regarding check in information which you did receive or you would not been able to unlock the door to enter the property. I am happy to send screenshots of my call/text logs during your stay and your booking feed to show we didn't receive any notifications about issues during your stay. My direct cell is available to all guests as well as the app, and many others have mentioned my prompt response to their concerns. I would have been happy to assist if I had been made aware of these issues when you arrived. Vrbo also has a customer service line if you have an issue and are unable to get a hold of the host. They were not notified during your stay either.

Overall our stay was pleasant. Home very spacious which gave everyone their on space however the carpet and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Need clearer instructions on how to lock the door.

Great location, ample space no frills

The location of this property and the ample space was definitely a plus for me and my family this weekend, we enjoyed having the three parking spots and multiple bathrooms. With a short walk to the beach and restaurants near by we loved that aspect! However, the property could use a better cleaning and updating to the standard amenities provided. It should be noted that this property is fully carpeted except the living /kitchen area and toilet paper is not provided.

Basic but good

This rental was overall very good for the price. The condo is fairly utilitarian as far as amenities. No bells or whistles. Lots of little things are broken all over but the important things like applicances and HVAC etc. work fine. If your main goal is to house a lot of people for a very fair price, this is your spot.

Nice and close to beach

Although the unit could have been much cleaner, it was very spacious and roomy. If you are traveling with someone that will have issues climbing stairs, this is not the house for you. Nice and close to the beach. The floors and countertops were filthy. We had to do a deep clean of the kitchen and all of the bathrooms before use. I suggest investing in a cleaning company.

In need of some paint and maintenance

Overall, pleased with the townhouse. It was in a great location for ease of access to everything. However, there was a broken chair on one of the decks, a broken chair at the kitchen table and the entire place could use a coat of paint and a bit of TLC. The WiFi and Internet were hard to access and when we contacted the person to assist us, they were less than helpful and treated us as though we were a bother.

You certainly were not a bother to us, and we apologize if you felt that way. We don't recall the specifics with your wifi issue to comment since your check in was weeks ago. We have 5 accessible networks, so we can get you connected to another network fairly easily even if there is any issue with connecting to yours. Renters typically have decent signal with 2 or 3 networks due to the height of the building and placement of routers.

OC adventure

We had a wonderful time in OC. Our accommodations were great! A few small negatives, the kitchen floor had been cleaned but was very sticky upon arrival. We wiped everything down which made it better however the carpets were very dirty in high traffic areas such as the stairways and landings. The panel to put in your entry code is a little tricky, but fine once you get the hang of it. Aside from that, the place was great. Very convenient location. 5 min walk to the beach and across the street from a few great restaurants. Ashley was great and responded quickly if we were in need of anything. I would definitely stay again!

Guests are required to acknowledge they agree with the house rules, one being that we do not provide Linens (sheets and towels) and also acknowledge the agreement conditions which go into detail about what is provided/not provided prior to completing the booking for the property. We also include it in a third place in the listing description, so we can't be much more transparent than that. The majority of properties with Coastal Highway addresses do have street noise and the listing does show the location of the property in relation to Coastal Highway. If a chair was not to your liking, we would have been happy to have another one brought to you, but this wasn't mentioned or any other issue besides not having linens. Since we do not provide linens, we assisted in giving you locations of places that you could rent or buy linens in OC. A large portion of properties in OC do not provide linens, so we also explained how to filter searches in the future to only be shown properties that do.
