Great spot to hang out on the lake. 90 feet of Private Frontage and gazebo. Private dock directly across from the dunes.

House comes with Satellite TV's, WiFi, Air-conditioning, security cameras on outside of the house for your toys safety never any issues, can see doors and parking areas.

4 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Bordering Lake Michigan and Silver Lake, the remarkable sand dunes area consists of nearly 2,000 acres of rolling sand hills 1.5 miles wide and 3 miles long. Still growing and moving, it is considered one of the largest deposits of living dunes on the shores of Lake Michigan. Most of this region is part of the Silver Lake State Park and is open to the public, the beginning of April through October.

Divided into three sections, the northern area is reserved for off-road vehicles where you can test your vehicle and your sand driving skill. Dune vehicle rentals are available. The center region is for hikers and has access to both Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. The southern end is leased to Mac Woods Dune Rides. This is an easy way for people of all ages to enjoy the dunes close-up. Per local zoning you must sign a rental agreement and have it with you on property.

Great Lakefront Home

This home was perfect for our 4th of July family vacation. Being right on Silver Lake was awesome. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen. Pots/pans/silverware/etc. Plenty of towels too. Owners were responsive, and very nice. We already booked for next year!

Beautiful home on the lake

This rental was perfect for friends who were in town for our wedding. The deck flows straight to a dock, the views are beautiful and the house is big and comfy.

This was our 3rd stay at this property and the owner has been making steady improvements. We love this place as it’s right on the water, 4 bedrooms and a huge living room/kitchen/ dining area for all to enjoy. Nice dock and spot to connect the boat. Plenty of parking spaces and room for my boat trailer. Perfect location if you want to boat and enjoy the area.

This is the best rental right on Silver Lake! Fun to watch the Mac Woods Dune buggies right across the lake. Great dock for enjoying the lake. Wonderful to have breakfast out on the deck. Lots of large windows and sliders for an unobstructed view. Very large place with plenty of room to spread out.

The house was great! Driveway had enough room for 3 cars and our pontoon. Everything was wonderful, the only odd part was the home being unfinished and still under construction. Other than that, everything was great.

Family vacay

We enjoy this property and the great set up, inside and out, for our family! It’s well maintained and close enough to town and the dunes without being in the noise of it all. It’s not a big deal at all, but we had a difficult time accessing anything on the TV. Wireless was fine, but no apps were installed. Normally we don’t watch TV on vacay, but the Olympics were on. A little direction sheet that includes how yo access network channels and perhaps some installed apps might help. This was small potatoes though and certainly not something that would hold us back from reserving again.

Owner is a slumlord

This is my 2nd stay at this property because the owner said he was planning on fixing the problems we encountered the first time. It was worse this year. The location and view are beautiful. The house is a trap falling in on itself. Black mold in one bedroom, loose boards all over front deck and stairs that are held together with rusty nails. The dock requires balance to walk because it’s lopsided. You need super human strength to open and close the only sliding door that opens to the deck. The owner will claim that you left trash and moved furniture if you complain. Looks like he did this with another occupant. His neighbor told us that he has not had the place inspected. I’m calling the health department. Stay at your own risk.

Renter had extra people in the house, damaged the house, and got charged for it. I you read this review. Please understand, we were charged extra from our cleaning crew for the mess left in the house, and renter leaving 2 hours late. When cleaning people let them know, that other people were checking on the same day, renter said "Well it sucks to have your job then". This is the first time we have been charged extra in 5 years. Renter said leaving food everywhere in house and fridge was a gift for the cleaners. Items this renter broke, Blinds, Fan, Dock, Stairs. They moved Furniture around the house and left it. Here is her review from last year: Beautiful view of the dunes! 5/5 Stars Stayed Aug 2020 Michelle What a beautiful view and perfect location! can't wait till next Summer to rent again. These issues are all related, if you try to bring in extra people to cover your cost. Please do not rent this house. If you cant afford your stay here please do not rent this house.

Place was nice, no major issues. Check in was easy. Great spot on the lake. Very sandy bottom . Small front yard, but not a lot of places have a large yard. Nice open concept. The deck needs some upkeep but it seems like it’s being worked on. It was nice for a 3 day weekend.

Dirty property

We had a horrible experience with this property! When we arrived, there was a key in the door, walked in and there was a pair of men's shorts and underwear on the floor. No one was in the home. We contacted the owner, he said it was his dock guy installing a bouy in the lake that morning. There was also a horrible odor when we walked in which we believe was mold. It permeated throughout the house. Also, we found the house to be dirty. We spent two days cleaning. One of toilets was filthy. There wasn't a screen on the main sliding door and the screen in the bedroom was ripped. All in all, this was a costly rental and we were extremely upset and disappointed with the entire home during our stay. I would advise never to rent this home!!!

Memorial Weekend family vacation

It was a great location and the view was fabulous. There were 6 adults and we all enjoyed the place! The beds are comfortable (4 bedroom, all queens) and the 2 full bathrooms were good except they could use a bit more light. The owners are upgrading the place and it has come a long way! The only real negative is that the sliding door is really heavy and there were quite a few gnats right outside the door but that’s Michigan living on the water. The property manager was easy to work with and very responsive when needed. We would stay here again without question.

Great Location and Amazing View

Check-in was a breeze, property was very clean and the view was great, unfortunately the internet was out and my phones Hotspot was limited. Was hoping the dock was up to chill at the bench, but it was still very early in the season, so it wasn't up yet. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we loved the view! Exceeded Expectations

I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried about the rental property after reading a few reviews but decided the price of the stay was worth the gamble. First off, this stay exceeded my expectations entirely. The house is so cute on the outside and then you get inside and WOW. The view alone was worth the money. The house is much larger, much lighter and the pictures do not do it justice. We had 8 total adults staying, we were celebrating my husband and my 10th wedding anniversary, and every single one of the adults on the trip were just amazed by the space, location, view, and the house as a whole. If you are on the fence about renting this location: don't be! It's beautiful. I'm not exactly sure where the previous renters stayed (the ones leaving negative reviews) but, it couldn't possibly be this location because this place was perfect. In addition, the owner was extremely timely in response to the questions that I had about checking out; they were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. We didn't know much about the area and off season (October) so there wasn't much to do locally but, that wasn't a huge deal because we all planned to travel to the larger surrounding cities (Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, etc.); But I can only imagine what the view is like in the Summer. We are hopeful to being able to rent this beautiful property again this upcoming 2022 summer so that we can experience it during the On Season. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your property! We are so happy we did!
