Hi Sharon, When management was informed that the microwave wasn’t working, we immediately got in touch with you and delivered a smaller microwave to make sure you were comfortable because we truly care about our guests. You also confirmed that the microwave was received. There is no wallpaper peeling in the apartment, and I’ve never received any complaints about the corner being dirty you’re the first guest to mention that. Please know that we always care about our customers, which is why I sent someone to replace the towels and deliver the microwave as soon as possible. Best regards, Gertrudes!

We take all guest feedback seriously; however, this review does not reflect the full circumstances of this reservation. Prior to arrival, the guest requested a grocery shopping service totaling approximately $600, which was completed and delivered as requested. Despite confirming payment, the funds were never received. Shortly after check-in, the guest requested a full refund while remaining in the unit and contacted customer support multiple times without following the proper cancellation process through the platform. We remained responsive throughout and directed all communication to go through VRBO to ensure transparency. Additionally, the guest repeatedly requested off-platform arrangements, including cash handling, which we do not accept under any circumstances as it violates platform policies. After the stay, a chargeback was initiated despite the reservation being fulfilled and services rendered. This matter has been formally escalated. We have successfully hosted many guests and maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and compliance with platform rules. We encourage all bookings and payments to remain within VRBO for the protection of both parties.
