Welcome to Whiskey Bend, a newly updated lake house located on the main lake of Toledo Bend Reservoir, that sleeps 6. This lake house has beautiful grounds with waterfront views clear across to Texas. Private dock located on the property with stair access down to a private beach area. Great place for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Enjoy sitting around the campfire and grilling on the patio. Escape to this peaceful lake house and make unforgettable memories. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.

*Free Wifi (75 Mbps), Washer/Dryer, Linens/Towels, Complimentary Toiletries, Smart ROKU TV's in both the living room and master bedroom, multiple board games/cards/puzzles, NEW central AC/heat.

* NEW King & Queen Bed downstairs. 2 Twin beds upstairs.

* Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Dual K-cup & 12 cup pot coffee maker w/ 2 complimentary K cups to get your stay started. BBQ pit, don't forget your charcoal!
* When available, we can accommodate early check in and/or late check out for $40 each. It will move check in to 10am and check out to 4pm.
* Paddle boat provided at no additional cost

Thank you for choosing to stay at our property. Our home is located in a beautiful, woodsy area with access to the lake, which is part of its unique charm and appeal. Because of the natural surroundings, insects and other small wildlife may occasionally be present.

Please know that we take pest control seriously and maintain a regular schedule for professional spraying and treatment. However, is is not possible-or environmentally appropriate-to eliminate every insect in such a setting.

For this reason, we do not issue refunds for the presence of a few bugs that may appear during your stay.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the peaceful, natural environment our home offers. If you have any concerns during your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Had It All

What a great place to stay! Had been quite a few years since we visited friends that had a permanent home on the lake. The location was superb and peaceful. Loved watching the birds and of all things Saturday morning, an otter in the water. Kitchen amenities were best we’ve experienced in all our VBRO stays. Would highly recommend the property and the owners. GREAT place for some R&R.

Home away from home

The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The back patio had a nice view of the water. And there is a nice size BBQ pit on the side deck, it is a charcoal pit which is always a plus in my book. The kids fished off of the pier when they weren’t on the paddle boat. Being a guy that likes to cook, one of the main things that I thought was cool and they went a little extra on to make the place more accommodating is magnalite pots there to cook with if you decide to cook inside. It felt like home away from home. I’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing long weekend at this lakehouse on Toledo Bend! The home was absolutely perfect — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The secluded location made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making the whole experience seamless from booking to checkout. We especially appreciated all the great amenities that allowed us to fully enjoy our time at the lake without needing to leave.If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful surroundings and a well-appointed home, we highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay again!

The cabins in this area aren’t on top of each other. The land is a gentle slope to the water, no steep hills here. Mature trees provide shade throughout the property.
