Small cozy home tucked in a quiet cove on the South end of Toledo Bend lake on the Louisiana side. Enjoy the indoor fireplace or the outdoor fire pit in the winter time or a quick jump into the lake in the summertime. A covered boat dock and only a 5 minute drive by boat to get to the main lake.

Family getaway

This stay was overall one of my family's favorites! The house was cozy and so so cute. Perfect for my family of 5, including three young children! Having everything I needed to cook/clean as normal and be able to relax and sit on the back porch and watch the kids play. The location is perfect for any outings desired. It's the perfect little piece of paradise!

Lovely stay in S. Toledo Bend area

Little Minnow was perfect for our weekend getaway. There is so much to see and do in South Toledo Bend! We really enjoyed ourselves, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Excellent Getaway!

The property itself is a great little getaway spot, right on the lake, with a boathouse, firepit, grill, fish fryer, and plenty of space to fish. Caught some decent size catfish while we were there. The home is very comfortable with wonderful lake front decor! Everything you could ask for in a weekend getaway! The owners answered all questions and were extremely friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this property to everyone, we will definitely be back!

Great Stay

Great lake house. Outstanding host. Great fishing. Had a great time. Great!! That's just good fun. Kids loved the video game and we watched like half of the movies. The 6 beds were awesome. The host was super nice and friendly. Hubby and I had a great time fishing. The slide was a nice touch for the kiddos.

This is our second time to stay at this fabulous location. It was as immaculate as the first time. We felt just as comfortable and felt like we were home. It's the little thoughtful items that are provided that create such a homey comfortable feeling. Thank you Brian and Amanda for providing such a comfortable, warm, welcoming hime away from home. Hi! Our names are Amanda and Brian. Brian has been coming to Toledo bend his whole life with his family during his childhood mostly for fishing. I started coming along with him the first summer we started dating. We have continued his family tradition of spending almost every weekend at the lake with our two boys (10 & 13). I prefer to use the lake for relaxing by swimming, lounging on the pontoon, tubing and kayaking. Brian's idea of a good time at the lake is fishing from sun up to sun down. Getting in his boat at 5am maybe returning for lunch then heading back out and not returning until sunset. I hope our home works great for those that either want to fish all day or for those who may want to have a place to relax with the whole family.

Why they chose this property

Because its not on the main lake you can swim and enjoy the dock without large waves or fast boats interfering. Its a nice quiet cove but still not a far ride to get to the main lake for those whose goal is to fish all over the Bend.

What makes this property unique

We try to appeal to families with young children and pets. For those who may want to relax at the house and for those who plan to stay all day on the water.
