The view was great and the proximity to Shenandoah was very convenient. The house was incredibly clean and exactly as advertised. The hot tub was in great condition and they had extra tanks of propane for the fireplace and blackstone grill! 4WD drive helps for the access road but our 2WD made it in and out. Definitely recommend a visit!

Excellent location and amazing reviews. Would definitely plan to arrive while it’s light out for the first time as the road does get a little rough at the top but we did all make it in 2WD vehicles

Very spacious, clean and great amenities. I enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. They also had all access to channels or apps you wanted to watch. It was very scary getting there because the roads were steep, rocky and rough so definitely drive 5 to 10 mph once you get to those steep hills. The views were amazing when it was sunny, when the sun was setting and even when it was raining. The only problem that I had was some of the batteries were dead, so I had to swap them out when I was using the TV or the fire pit.

This house is FANTASTIC, perfect for large groups, and definitely deserves 5 stars. Just a warning to fellow city slickers like us: bring an AWD vehicle to access the property no matter what time of year it is. There's an extremely steep incline AND decline to get to the property and our 2 wheel drive cars STRUGGLED. I'm talking fell into a ditch struggled. Once you get there you won't want to leave!

We had such a great experience staying at The Vue! The home was incredibly well cared for, and everything matched the listing perfectly which made planning our trip so much easier. Check-in was smooth and stress-free, and the host did a fantastic job providing all the information we needed ahead of time. It truly felt like a 10/10 stay, and we’d love to come back!

Was a great stayRoad getting there is tricky but luckily we had a four wheel drive Never could figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room We will be back….great memories were made there I proposed and she said “Yes!!”

Beautiful property with beautiful views. Everything worked well and was fully stocked and the beds were comfortable. It was too cold to use the hot tub and we didn't want to pay extra for firewood but we loved our stay.

The cleanliness was obvious the minute we opened the door. Gorgeous, shining floors and immaculate counters. The decorations were perfect for that warm and cozy feel with pillows and blankets in all of the right places. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was hot! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed!

Beautiful Views, Steep Roads

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The back deck gives a beautiful view that we loved! We would definitely stay here again. One word of warning, the road in isn't entirely paved and is very steep at times.

Our family had a lovely time at The Vue! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The mountain view was truly incredible and we enjoyed watching the sunrise with our coffee on the back deck. While there's not much of a yard, our pup enjoyed the outdoor space too! Thank for being a part of our family's special memories. We'll be back!

Looking for a tranquil retreat, this is the place.

We had the most wonderful stay at this vacation property! The house was absolutely perfect, offering stunning views that made every morning so serene and peaceful. The property was immaculate and well stocked with everything we could possibly need, making our stay incredibly comfortable and hassle-free. The hot tub is amazing and the view while relaxing in there was an added bonus. It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. The house is lovely and well appointed with trash bags, TP, and paper towels which was a nice surprise. The view is amazing and exactly as shown. The host was extremely responsive to all inquiries. The hot tub did have a bit of a musty smell the second day... not sure how often chlorine is added, but it worked well and was actually hot which is not always the case with rentals. Some reviewers have commented on the road to the house but if you've ever lived in the mountains it is nothing you haven't seen before. We had no issues getting to the house. We used our stay as a launch point for visiting the numerous wineries/breweries in the area and it is in a fantastic location for that.

We rented this property to do an away game night with friends and it was great. The set up was perfect. The view is stunning. The central space both upstairs (kitchen and living room) and downstairs are very open, leaving a great ability to interact with each other. Everything we needed was there, the beds were super comfortable. Also, I'm always nervous renting on here out of fear that the host won't communicate enough. That was never an issue. Josefine made sure we had the instructions we needed in advance and they worked really well. Would definitely recommend.
