This 5 bedroom 3 bath Four Season post & beam home is steps away from Sunday River Ski Resort's South Ridge Lodge. Take a short 4-5 minute walk to the mountain to enjoy a day of skiing, hit the cafe for Apres Ski, & feel secure that it's only a short walk back "home" after the days festivities. Relax in the hot tub with family & friends after enjoying the great outdoors of western Maine. View the Thursday night fireworks from the comfort of this home or from the large deck off the dining room. Close proximity to 3 Walking paths accessing the Sundance Learning Center or Ridge RunTrail to South Ridge Express lift & the Chondola. One car attached garage for all your gear and vehicle. 3 full baths, one on every level. Laundry with washer/dryer/iron. Outdoor hot tub with Bluetooth speakers. WiFi, (2) 32" Smart TVs, 46" gaming TV with PlayStation 3 console, Blu-Ray player with movie library, 2 wall hung fireplaces. Cool off in summer in the many area swimming holes. 25 minutes to Grafton Notch State Parks many sites & hiking trails, downhill & cross country skiing locally, snowmobiling. Moose & deer abound. The autumn foliage is robust and the views plentiful. Weddings venues abound in the area and this home has plenty of room for an entire wedding party.

We are an outdoor couple with 2 beautiful, adventurous daughters and a handsome Springer Spaniel named Baxter. We are born & bred Mainers who love the outdoors and all of the seasons that Maine has to offer. We purchased this property as a renovation project to sell, but we fell in love with the charm of the home and proximity it affords to all that we love, so we kept it :-) We have completely updated the home and continue to add amenities and charm to this fabulous property.

Why they chose this property

This home has all the interior charm of a classic Maine post and beam (lots of wood). Though it has 3 levels of living with 5 bedrooms it still retains that "cabin" feel. Rustic wood and iron furnishings adorn the interior and the 2 fireplaces make you want to cuddle up for a movie, ball game, or afternoon nap. A 5-6 person hot tub adjacent to a rustic fire pit is the perfect to relax in after a long day enjoying the Maine mountains. Within walking distance to South Ridge Lodge, you can skip the hassle of parking. If you have a seasons pass or lift ticket, just walk to one of the access paths on Greenbrier Rd, throw on your skis and hit the slopes to South Ridge Express lift or the Chondola!
