This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin (sleeps 8) offers peace and tranquility while being only a few miles away from shopping, restaurants, and uptown amenities. Security Deposit:
The security deposit is not counted in the total. The deposit is $300.00. This is fully refundable and not a charge just a temporary hold placed on the card 2 days before arrival and released 4 days after departure as long as there have been no damages. The deposit is through our company, Bearskin Lodges, and not through the booking platform.

Great place, unfortunate that much of the acreage was not accessible due to the stairs marked as keep out, but otherwise a nice place to relax and enjoy Pagosa

beautiful house and property, unrealistic checkout expectations

This house is gorgeous, the views unmatched and it has everything you need. We were so happy here until we were charged extra because the place was too messy upon our departure. By mess they mean, used towels on floor and some tissues in bathroom. Make sure the place looks like you were never ever there or you will get your security deposit kept.

We are very sorry that you feel our checkout instructions were unrealistic. We ask guests to start the dishwasher, start a load of towels and pick up trash. That is it. You and your family left our home in such a mess and followed none of the checkout instructions. There was trash thrown all over the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The WIFI router was moved and unplugged, windows and doors were left open, gum and other trash was left out front, games were not picked up and furniture was moved around. Our cabin was treated very disrespectfully and our cleaners had to work extra hard to get the cabin ready for our next guests to arrive. We kept a portion of your security deposit for this reason and you are currently disputing that charge. We take great pride in our home and we do expect our guests to treat our home with respect and to treat us with kindness-neither of which you did. I will also add that we agreed to let you arrive early on the day you checked in and anytime you reached out during your stay we responded right away.
