Our villa has the Licence EOT Nro. 0756K91000402401. This licence confirms that our property meets all the standards of the Greek Tourist board, in terms of safety and comfort, for a villa of this category.

Villa Cassiopee is a 5-bedroom villa, divided in two parts (NOT rented separately!), built with the finest materials and decorated with taste. It combines tradition and luxury modern comfort and offers stunning views to a 50sqm swimming pool with luxurious wooden-deck, the sea and the hills in an absolutely peaceful location.

It is located on the top of a hill above the bay of Aghia Paraskevi, where our guests will appreciate absolute privacy, tranquillity and stunning sea views , on a private 6000m2 plot planted with olives trees, flowers and grass. and with a 50sqm pool,

It sleeps up to 10 persons in its 5 bedrooms and a sixth sleeping area in the mezzanine. The villa offers also 5 complete shower rooms, three of which are en-suite with three of the bedrooms. It has 2 spacious living rooms with fireplace and dining area and 2 fully equipped kitchens. Each living room has a beautiful terrace with nice furniture, offering an unforgettable view . A villa rental is above all a question of mutual trust. It is very important to clear any doubt before you make your decision. Please do not hesitate to send me as many questions as you wish. Our experience with Muriel, her local team and the house was entirely positive and heart warming. The location is perfect and the extra little breeze of the hills was so welcome. The house was perfect for our group with loads of young adults - offering space for privacy and joint up time. We especially loved prepping and chopping for meals together in the kitchen & eating at the large outside table overlooking the beautiful view to the sea.

Lovely Villa and wonderful location

The villa really is as good as the photos suggest. We had a family holiday over a three week period with various members of the family coming for one week, two weeks, or three weeks. It worked extremely well ! The villa's location is fantastic - a short drive from Skiathos town and the airport but up in the hills with a fantastic view and plenty of privacy. Many family members walked down to the tavernas that were on the road at the bottom of the hill but you need to be "keen" to walk BACK on a hot day ! There are four or five tavernas within walking distance and a couple of small "supermarkets". The villa itself is a lovely layout being built into the hillside to some extent. It is on three levels with each room having a terrace outside with seating. There are five different areas that can be used and in our case the children tended to use the upper balcony and some of the adults (me !) preferred the quieter lower level with a little more peace and quiet and access to cool beer in the lower kitchen area. The owners agent of the island (Jacques) is wonderful. A friendly, helpful man that knows the island and is always happy to help - he was the icing on the cake. The housekeeper was also lovely. She cleaned spotlessly twice a week and helped us order a full family meal from a local taverna which we then laid out on the balcony table to enjoy as a full family - a memorable evening. Perfect villa, perfect location, great weather, friendly locals, wonderful beaches, boats to hire, restaurants up in the hills, lovely owner, helpful local contacts. A wonderful holiday that was enjoyed by all.

The Perfect Holiday

The Villa is in the most beautiful setting verdant green hills with panoramic views to the sea, the pool is set to take in the sweeping views and benefits from light breezes. The Villa itself is spacious stylish with every care in all the details. 2 Kitchens 2 sitting rooms and a wonderful terrace again making the most of the stunning views and location. We had a perfect holiday in this gem of an Island and are planning our next visit. A real piece of heaven!

Excellent property on wonderful Grrek Island.

The villa was excellent, and the space and views exceeded expectations. The villa is ideal for 2 groups with the potentially separate upper and middle floor accommodation. The pool was an ideal size. The villa was clean , well maintained and with excellent support from the manager and cleaner. A particular bonus was the collection and return to the airport and the use of 2 Suzuki SUV for use. Boat trips were invaluable for seeing the island. This is good value for money, and the cars are essential to get to the beaches. Fantastic villa with outstanding views!!

Upon booking villa Cassiopee the communication with Muriel run so smoothly, she was so promt to answer any questions and provided so much information on the villa, beaches and eating out which came in very handy! We stayed as a family of 8, my husband, parents and 4 teenage children. I was a little apprehensive booking a seperate villa and flights as we usually do package holidays but everything was so easy that I would definitely do this again, and certainly return to villa Cassiopee. The lovely Jacques was waiting for us at the airport, he gave us a nice warm welcome! He took all of our luggage and gave us our cars, we followed him up to the villa, only around a 10-15 minute drive, and the roads are very good! The villa itself is stunning, loads of room and nooks to lose yourself from the rest of the group, we stayed on the lower ground floor with my parents so we had our own kitchen, living room and lovely quiet terraces away from the lively children who all stayed on the middle floor. The villa is nicely decorated and feels like home from home. The pool is huge, lots of room for all 8 of us to swim and play games. The views from the pool area and outdoor dining areas were breathtaking!!! I have to mention the Taverna Maistrali, this was situated on the small road up to the villa just a couple of minutes away. This is a family run traditional Greek restaurant, Muriel recommended it to us. We probably ate here 90% of our 10 day stay :) not only is the food outstanding but the service and the atmosphere was 10 out of 10. We even ordered pizzas and salads to take up to our villa when we had been out all day. Breakfast was also the best we found! Overall we had an amazing holiday, we didn't want to leave so a HUGE thank you to Muriel and Jacques for a unforgettable experience.

Fabulous experience

The whole experience from my initial enquiry to booking and staying at Villa Cassiopee was fabulous. The personal experience you feel is fabulous with Muriel in booking and then the experience at the villa is excellent. You will not find a better villa on Skiathos. Jacques will make your experience perfect. Whatever you need, he will be there. I would recommend Villa Cassiopee most highly. If you want to stay on Skiathos, this is the villa you want!

Exceeded Expectations!

Hello Muriel I thought I would drop you a line just to let you know how we all thoroughly enjoyed staying at your villa. On arrival we were so pleased; the villa is more beautiful than the pictures and so spacious! There were 12 of us and at no point did we feel on top of each other. The two kitchens worked extremely well, the younger ones had the lower ground area, which was great to give them some of their own space, it was very newly decorated and had a lovely modern kitchen and beautiful lounge area. The rest of us used the middle and upper floors where the bedrooms and main living area were traditional Greek style. The main living area and kitchen had everything we could possible need, leading out onto the wonderful terrace with fantastic views, here we at most as it was a lovely cool spot and could seat all 12 of us. Also on this terrace were comfy sofas and a chaise lounge, with gorgeous lanterns and flowering plants. Jacques and Mary were great, Jacques was most helpful getting us to and from the airport and Mary came late morning which suited the youngsters who wanted to lie in, she was very friendly and kept us nice and tidy with lovely fresh towels and bedding as often as we would like. She even collected our first meal and brought it to the villa for us, as well as organising a birthday cake for one of our party, nothing was too much trouble for them. We hired an extra Suzuki Jimny, therefore we had 3 altogether, and this was perfect to show our party how lovely the island was and to bob into town for the evening. We ate at the local restaurants, the food and service was super. We even went and collected lunch a few times, toasted sandwiches were only 2.50 euros each, fantastic pizzas and Greek salad. The pool area is much larger than I expected, there is a specious lawn, great for games and the little one to run around on, the pool itself has steps leading into it, this made it much safer for our two senior ladies to get in and out of. I have to say the water was a great temperature, cold enough to refresh you but not too cold for the little one. There was plenty of shade from two very large pool side umbrellas as well as two trees you could sit under, whilst relaxing reading a book or keep the baby cool while having his afternoon nap. Thank you Muriel and team for letting us unwind and dream a little in your lovely villa, we would love to come again next year. Love the Graham family x

Perfect family holiday

We were a family of 7, 4 over 50, 3 between18-25 years old. The villa was a wonderful place to gather for a family holiday. It was peaceful beautiful and relaxing yet near all facilities. Everything was great and as expected from the villa description, photos and the previous reviews. Jacques made us very welcome, he is delightful and could not do have been more helpful. Maria too was lovely and very much in the background at the times she was there. We felt looked after without intrusion. Muriel has been very professional. In all the years of renting holiday homes, I have never had such, prompt, efficient, helpful and genuinely friendly service from start to finish. Muriel's restaurant recommendations were brilliant, especially Olive Thea which sits on highest point of the island, you can see all the neighbouring islands and brilliant food, a memorable evening. Memorable holiday. It all adds up to a great ambiance at a much loved villa. Highly recommended. Would definitely return to this beautiful villa.

Beautiful private villa, amazing views and pool

Beautiful, idyllic villa set in peaceful countryside overlooking the sea. 10 mins walk to nearby tavernas and supermarket. Ideal place for our party of mixed ages. The pool was lovely and a really good size and facilities in the villa were excellent. Lots of places to relax in sun and shade - the weather was very hot! Well maintained and would definitely recommend, especially for a family gathering such as ours.

Wonderful holiday in a superb villa

From start to finish, our experience was excellent. All administration before & after our holiday was handled very quickly by Muriel, & she was available by phone before we booked to answer all our questions. Everything was thought through, to make our stay as easy & comfortable as possible, including transfers to & from the airport & delivery of the hire cars to the villa. On arrival, through the holiday & on departure, Jacques was available if required, to help with any information or support required. We were a party of 5 - 2 parents, 2 grandparents & a 4 year old. The villa & grounds were spacious enough for us to be together when we wanted to be, or have our own space to relax. The villa was well furnished inside & out, with lots of very comfortable places to sit & relax, on the terraces, by the pool, or by the BBQ. The gardens were well maintained, & the cleaning ladies kept the villa spotless. The glass fences also meant safety without loss of the wonderful view. The villa was up on the hillside, totally private & not overlooked by any other villas, with a wonderful view to the sea & mountains beyond. Whether during the day or at night, sitting on the terrace was so peaceful & relaxing. A view that you would never tire of. The steps into the pool made it very safe for our toddler & mother. & there were numerous types of sunbeds & chairs to either soak up the sun or cool off in the shade. It was just a short drive to the local village, where there were numerous tavernas for very good evening meals & a supermarket for supplies. All in all, a wonderful villa for our family to spend 2 weeks in. Exactly what we were looking for. & the only problem was that we had to return home...... Thank you Muriel & Jacques. A Jewell Among Skiathos's Green Foothills

Group of 8 all back home safely, still smiling at the memories of a great week in Skiathos! Everything was to our expectation and more, both with the villa and the activities organised by the hosts there. We took in many of the suggestions kindly provided by the owner – Mandraki beach, Bakaliko restaurant, tennis games at the tennis club etc – and found them all to be wonderful. Best of all was the day trip with Tommy and his boat, stopping at the blue cave, Lalaria beach and cocktails at Mystique Bar on Ampelakia Bay. We all thought Tommy was an ideal skipper – so friendly and laid back. We did not end up ‘disturbing’ the main host Jacques much but when called upon he was always helpful and knowledgeable. Much thanks goes to owner Muriel for her excellent assistance in the booking and planning of the stay, and facilitating our residence in this special villa. I will recommend this accommodation to any friends and colleagues enquiring about holidays not just in Skiathos, but the whole of Greece.

A wonderful villa!

We had such a lovely time at Villa Cassiopée. First of all, it's really a pleasure dealing with Muriel who is very organized and extremely helpful. The villa has a perfect location close to the Agia Paraskevi beach, but not far from town either. There are lots of tavernas and shops close-by that are very handy. The road to the villa winds up and around but it's properly paved - not a problem. We rented a jeep - it's more fun on this mountainous island! The villa was impeccablly clean and it was a pleasure to see Maria who was in charge of housekeeping. Jacques is indeed a wonderful contact person. He's very helpful, personable and intervenes immediately if there is a need. The Villa Cassiopée is really a family home, not just a vacation rental and you can feel it. It's very comfortable, well-equipped (lots of dishes, proper wine glasses,dishwasher, toaster, coffee machines, washing machine and iron ...) and beautifully decorated. It was ideal for us with our adult children - we each had our own space, living room, bathroom (there are 5 in the house - a real plus). The pool area is fabulous and after a morning at the beach and lunch in a taverna, it was heavenly coming back, far from the crowds to enjoy the pool and just take in the extraordinary panorama. We followed Muriel's advice and tried some of her favourite restaurants and were never disappointed. The Taverna at Kanapitsa Beach was one of our favourites. Olive Land was excellent as well. And we went several times to Bakalika in the port and it was very good. We took Muriel's advice and went to Mandraki Beach to watch the sun set one evening (being French, we brought along a bottle of champagne and some Greek Olives) - it was magical! Our thanks to Muriel, Jacques and Maria who really contributed to making our holiday special. We definitely recommend the villa Cassiopée and hope to come back soon! P.S. We left a DVD of Mamma Mia behind - whoever goes to Skiathos should definitely watch it!! ;-)

great place!

The villa has a very accurate and correct described on the site. As it is on the web site is the same live. The location is wonderful and it has all the facilities. It's very clean and extremely well maintained. Excellent services. The restaurants recommended were very good. We recommend the villa for family and also for a group of friends.

Villa Cassiopee/Skiathos

A well maintained property with a very helpful owner. Excellent views from the property, lovely new pool and a good layout for a 2 family holiday. The downstairs extension has been done well and we particularly liked the grass surrounding the pool and outside the downstairs patios. Very often owners find it easier to have stone tiling because it's easier to maintain, but the grass is much softer and cooler.It's not a 5/5 star review because if I was being very fussy I would say some of the finishing on the interiors of the downstairs extension are not quite up to scratch...also wifi needs to be added so its a 4/5 star. Apart from these minor quibbles I would highly recommend this villa for a family holiday in Skiathos.

Viva Villa Cassiopee!

We spent 10 glorious days at Villa Cassiopee in July 2012. We were three families from South Africa with children ranging in age from 19 to 25. There were 14 of us in total. The owner, Muriel, was most helpful and approachable when we were planning our holiday. We had never been to Skiathos before, so her help was greatly appreciated. The villa was very clean,well appointed and well equipped. It is very obvious that the owners take pride of their villa.It was spacious enough for all 14 of us. We paid extra to have Maria clean the villa everyday. She was hardworking and cleaned very well. I would highly recommend her.There is air conditioning in the two main bedrooms as well as in the passage of the other rooms. There is also an air conitioner in the mezzanine room.We were in Skiathos during a heat wave and requested fans. Muriel had them sent the day after we requested them. We were VERY happy with the villa in general and always looked forward to going "home" after a long day on the beach.The swimming pool is brand new and a real treat. We spent many evenings cooling down and admiring the beautiful view. The villa is at the top of a steep hill so the cars are a bonus and a must. The position suited us as we were able to socialize without the worry of offending the neighbours. The villa is close to a lovely beach with lots of parking. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the road which was very handy. Skiathos is a charming island. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the Summer. The beaches are stunning with gorgeous bars and restaurants attached to them.The nightlife is a must to experience in the actual town. Our children raved about the clubs and bars. We ate at many restaurants and never once had a bad meal. I highly recommend Villa Cassiopee. You won't be disappointed!!!!!

Peaceful and relaxing holiday

Villa Cassiopee has many advantages but for us - 2 families with kids - it was the place where we spent the most peaceful and relaxing time with our kids. The combination of the location ( on top of one of the hills around Agia Paraskevi offering a great panorama view to the island and the sea ) , the big terrace ( with the view!) and the peaceful garden, where the kids were able to play without being watched all the time, the silence - it all made it a perfect place to stay for us. Not to mention the loving team who takes care of the villa - Rania and her parents. Very helpful and caring people who were not only taking care of the cleaning but helped us with information and organization of our requests throughout our stay - restaurants, beaches, renting a boat trip etc. It was as if we were in a small boutique hotel with every care and need covered.

Why they chose this property

In fact, 20 years ago, we fell in love with this absolutely peaceful location and this stunning view to the Aegean sea and to the beautiful hills with a gorgeous Mediterranean vegetation. We bought a piece of land on the top of a hill, with no concrete road, no water, no fence, no electricity and of course, no house. With a lot of work and love, we built the beautiful villa Cassiopee, which is, as I often say, our fourth child!

What makes this property unique

What do I love in my villa? The cicada songs, the starry nights, the view all around, the fact that I have no neighbor, the fact that it is very large and I can invite at the same time my mother-in-law, my teenage kids and their friends and my own friends. Everybody finds his place and privacy. The fact that I can hear loud music if I want without bothering anybody. The fact that I have chosen carefully each piece of furniture which has its own story for me. Villa Cassiopee is not only a holiday rental, it's my home in Greece and my guests feel that.
