Relax with the whole family (or two) or groups of friends at this peaceful and secluded mountain refuge. One of the best views in western North Carolina. High speed Wi-Fi. Pool table. Hot tub. Sauna. Gas grill. Multiple patios. Two full kitchens. Recently fully renovated. Rainfall shower. Soaking Tub. Kegerator and wine fridge. Workout room with rowing machine and free weights and rack. Located miles from the Appalachian Trail and the Nantahala National Forest. An hour or less from Asheville, skiing, rafting, tubing, and more. With 4 bedrooms including a king bed, 2 queen beds, a bunk bed, and a full bed. We hope you enjoy what our place and western North Carolina mountains has to offer.

Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Checkout is promptly at 10 am.
Doors lock automatically. Please don’t lock any doors from the inside.
When you leave, please leave the towels and sheets and pillowcases that were used upstairs in the master bathtub and those from downstairs in front of the washer/dryer by the bathroom downstairs.

I am the third generation of the family with this property. I just completely renovated and upgraded and put all the things I wanted in the house. I live in Atlanta and am not able to use it as often as I like, so I hope to share it with others whenever possible.
Why they chose this property
The family originally lived in Highlands/Cashiers, and they moved to this place because of the view, which is just spectacular.
What makes this property unique
This property is just the most peaceful refuge. My grandparents loved providing a safe and happy place for family and friends and weary travelers to rest, relax, and enjoy a good meal. We hope you find this place to be the way they intended, a scenic mountain refuge where all are welcomed. We hope it feels like home.
