Great place to stay. Clean, bigger than I expected, and very close to the Marina. Hosts communicated very well throughout the process. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly host that’s easy to get ahold of and happy to do what they can to accommodate. House was well furnished with comfortable bed and plenty of space. Had a lot of little details that were very well thought out that helped make our stay great. Would use this host again for sure.

The House Boat was great. Fantastic location a short walk or boat over to the Marina bar/restaurant/ship store. Everything we needed was there, good linens, big ice machine, new freezer, wiFi, nice washer dryer, complete kitchen. The host was great arranging an early check in, lots of fishing advice as he grew up fishing the area and checking in on us to be sure we had everything and all was going well. Lots of Parking in front of the house boat made loading and unloading really easy. I can definitely see our crew returning in the spring. Super nice guy!

The whole process was perfect. It was easy to get in and the property was just as listed. Unlike most of the other house boats, I’ve stayed in In Venice. It was very well stocked, and the air conditions worked great. It is very comfortable and has easy access because you can drive right up to it. There’s a boat docking back, which makes it very easy to come and go from your boat. I would highly recommend.

Owners were very attentive and easy communication. They made sure we had everything that we needed and even thought ahead looking at the weather pattern and bringing in extra heaters because it was about to get very cold. Great experience would stay there again. Great owners.

Great stay at Grannie Sallie. Hosts were extremely helpful and proactive with information ahead of our stay. Location was phenomenal as we were able to walk to the marina and local fishing guides were able to pick us up at the dock. Houseboat was clean and had everything you needed and more, including an industrial ice machine. You can’t go wrong with a stay at Grannie Sallie.

This is now my favorite houseboat to stay in Venice Marina. Very clean houseboat and friendly hosts. Had a few questions during stay and was answered almost immediately. The only item that could improve my experience with this rental would be a small deep freezer to store your daily catch. The marina does store fish for a small daily fee so definitely not a deal breaker on renting this nice place.

We cooked the majority of our meals in house. There was more than adequate pots and pans to cover our needs. The convenience of back door guide pickup and a large ice machine is a real benefit. Being able to unload your groceries and gear at the front door is a huge plus. This was our fourth four day stay and we plan to return soon!!

This is a great location with parking lot access very clean and great owners. Everything was as advertised. They even hooked us up with a guide they knew which was also great!! Guide was Taylor’s Guide Service
