Mauro was our host and he was excellent. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions very quickly. The location was great, close to the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Pier and Coronado. Great place for family with lots of room..

We've stayed in San Diego before, and this is by far our favorite location we've stayed at. It was very clean, comfortable, and safe. We loved having easy access to a grocery store, coffee, and train station. Even all the uber drivers we interacted with said that this particular location is in a nice safe area.We're definitely planning on booking this same location next year!

Everything we needed & close to Convention Center

Quaint place to stay - it was exactly what we needed and the property manager was responsive and patient when I couldn't figure out the lock to checkin. Close to a grocery store and some excellent restaurants. Recommend bringing ear plugs since the roadway can be loud.

Close to Coronado

Convenient location to Coronado island. Active neighborhood right out your window with coffee shops restaurants and a grocery store. Cute courtyard with incredible plants. Nice, helpful host.

Clean and Spacious House

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious and clean house. If you like Food and Music, you will enjoy this location. So many choices of restaurants in walking distance from the house. Reasonably priced super market very close by. Will stay here again.

We did not have enough silverware for our family of five but the host got some to us as soon as we asked. The kitchen has limited bakeware, microwave, dishes, etc. We spent a lot of time hand washing dishes because there is no dishwasher. Parking was a challenge because the slots in front of the house are only good for two hours during the day. Nights and weekends is 24 hour parking however.

Perfect location

This home is just as listed, however the location was even better than expected. Easy access to the zoo, La Jolla, Coranado, Gaslamp and more. Didn’t have to waste hours of time in crazy CA traffic. Thanks again. We will be back!

Excellent location

We are a family group of 5 senior adults returning from a cruise in Mexico to San Diego. We decided to visit San Diego for a few days before returning home. We were pleased to find the house was very clean and spacious. There are 3 large bedrooms, living room area as well as a renovated kitchen and 2 updated bathrooms.

The house was perfect for 6 adults, and had everything we needed! Our host was very responsive and helped us find a wonderful location to view July 4th fireworks. It’s half a mile from the trolley station, which allowed us to easily travel all over the city. Lots of local restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The furniture is basic but functional, and we had no issues. Two of the three bedrooms are next to a major street, so you do have some street noise in the evening, plus we had nightclub music on Friday night. Ear plugs blocked it out. We appreciated the washer/dryer and the hair dryer.

The house itself is nice and newly remodeled, and it is conveniently located near downtown and the Coronado area. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing.The property is not located in a residential area; it is in a business area directly on a busy street, and a bar is located across the street. If you are hoping to sleep normally, that will be very difficult. On our first night, the bar was blasting loud music until around 2:00 AM, and there was also significant noise from the upstairs tenant walking around late into the night. We were unable to get any meaningful sleep.There were also issues with preparedness and cleanliness. The host had the wrong check-in date and believed we were arriving a day later, so the house was not properly prepared when we arrived. Basic items such as soap, shampoo, and dish soap were missing. In addition, the coffee pot had visible mold inside, which was concerning.On the second day, the host came to the property and initially scolded us for “checking in early.” Although he later realized the mistake was his and apologized, the interaction was very uncomfortable and unpleasant.We were in San Diego because my son was competing in a sporting event, and adequate rest was critical. After losing an entire night of sleep, we could not risk another sleepless night negatively affecting his performance. As a result, we had no choice but to check out early and lose money.
