We had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable and clean. The location is quiet and private. The lake is beautiful. We would definitely book again.
Nice little camp on a pond just off of the main road (Rt. 17). Convenient to both Gardiner and Augusta. House seemed brand new - mini-splits in both bedrooms and the living room, big bathroom with shower with good pressure, Roku TV, etc... Road getting in was not great, especially after some snow, but as long as you have a decent vehicle, it's fine. Nice lake views on the west side of the house - would love to come back sometime in the summer to go boating, swimming, etc...
My colleagues and I needed to find a place a stay for the weekend, as we were coordinating a wedding on Damariscotta Lake. This cute rental was only a 15 minute drive from our work location. We knew we wouldn't be checking in until after 9pm. Boris gave me very clear & helpful directions to find the home, as it is quite rural down a long dirt road. The second bedroom has a trundle-like option, and the other a full size bed. It's a short and beautiful walk out the back door to the pond. Everything was very updated, clean and the perfect aesthetic for a tucked away weekend in Maine. I am looking forward to booking another stay in the future!
We are on the shores of a clean, secluded, unpolluted lake that’s about 1 mile long. There’s a 3,000 acre state-owned land of a wildlife sanctuary on the other side of the lake. We are one of only 3 families that have lake access along that 1-mile stretch. Lake is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing including winter ice fishing We provide 2 kayaks. No motor boats allowed - the lake has to stay unpolluted.
