Come rest and relax at Casa Sunshine! A beautiful little house in the sleepy town of Chan Chemuyil, nestled between Tulum and Playa Del Carmen. Enjoy your own private pool and a covered patio for morning coffee or evening cocktails. On the edge of the jungle, Casa Sunshine is a 15-20 minute walk(5 minutes drive) to one of the best beaches on the coast or a short drive to many others. Come to Mexico and live like a local!

We are located a short 15 minutes north of Tulum, conveniently located to the new Tulum airport.

There are two bedrooms and one bath. There is a private pool in the back of the house. I keep a property manager who will get you settled in and be there for you should you have any concerns or problems. There are 2 bikes for your use. The house has AC and ceiling fans throughout. Chan Chemuyil hosts 3 cenotes within walking distance and the sweet pueblo of Chemuyil is a short 1.2k away (18 mn. walk), where you can find restaurants, street food and a coffee shop and more. You will find the experience of being here with a car easier, but it is doable on foot with the help of public transport very close by.

Marian was a nice guest. However, she brought a dog without following my instructions that pets need approval. I looked past it but would have appreciated her following that request on the booking. Dog hair was a big issue when she left. Other than that, she was a fine guest and responsive.

I am from Chicago and bought this sweet casa in spring of 2024. I'm so excited to have a place to ground myself in Mexico and share with others when I cannot be there. This is my home away from home. Hope you will treat it that way too!

Why they chose this property

I considered Akumal, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, but decided on CC because it was a WHOLE HOUSE! Amazing. With a pool! Plus it's quiet--near all the action but not in it. It's walking distance to the sweet pueblo of Chemuyil with lots of amazing food options. And walking/biking distance to a beach.
