Contemporary house in a beautiful pastoral setting. Viking stove, wood-burning fireplace, gunite heated saltwater pool, screened sun porch, large deck, piano, spacious yard, lovely gardens, wood-burning Finish sauna. Four bedrooms. Ping-pong, fussball, e-bikes One mile south of Umpachene Falls, 20 min to Great Barrington, 37 min toTanglewood. Summer availability preferably on a monthly basis. Also available over Labor Day, Christmas/New year or Thanksgiving, unless blocked by owner.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Why they chose this property

Because it is the best place to unwind yet stay active. In winter: ski at Butternut, or cross-country in the fields - and conclude with a visit to our own Finnish sauna. In summer, swim in heater saltwater pool, or in the river; play outside games - - and bike and hike! Boating and public court tennis driving distance.

What makes this property unique

View is striking: wide and open, starry skies. Immensely quiet (practically no traffic), yet not isolated. Walking access to meandering stream and hiking access to spectacular falls. Well-tended gardens on three sides, plenty bird life, several private seating spots around the house, swimming pool, and state of the art stand-alone Finnish sauna. In addition, barn building (to be completed summer 2024) to house/sleep the loud teenagers with separate bathroom and shower, and beds, and has (outside) fussball, ping-pong, (inside) rowing machine for entertainment.
