Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thirteen members from age 1,2,4 to 63. The house was awesome! Been coming to the beach some 20 plus years. Best house we’ve ever rented!! Absolutely recommend.

Too Much Alarm

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great to the beach. It had a pool but the front door alarm goes off every time you exit and enter. The house was not properly cleaned. The management Co did respond to our questions.

Great house but not ADA accessible

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a great location, had fully stocked amenities, and clean. Our complaint was the front (& singular entry) door alarm in place because of the pool. There was no way to turn off the alarm or lower the volume. The alarm would go off any time the door opened. While I value pool safety, the alarm should be only on the pool or a gate added around the pool. The door alarm solves the “insurance requirement” for the owners but did not consider the user experience of an ear piercing alarm on the only entrance of the house. My MIL who uses a wheelchair and kids who could swim, but not tall enough to reach the bypass button were constantly frustrated by this lack of planning. Everyone in our group complained that they couldn’t relax because they were worried someone would open the door. Additionally, the bypass button only allowed you 10 sec. to get through the doorway before going off. I would caution that only abled bodied (& tall) adults rent this location or the owners find a different safety solution instead of this poorly planned inconvenience.
