Jamestown is one of North Carolina’s oldest communities, rich with history dating back to the 1700s. Popular attractions like Mendenhall Homeplace, Castle McCulloch, and City Lake Park, with its marina, paddle boat and kayak rentals, fishing, and walking trails, are all close by.

The home features a spacious, open layout with designer fixtures, original artwork, and modern conveniences. Nice little place.

Nicely remodeled and it was clean. Only issue with location is that it is close to a bar and the live music was really loud til midnight on Friday and Saturday night. It did look like the cleaner came in and touched up but left in a hurry because they forgot to put away a cleaner and take the little bit of trash out they left. And there was a lamp left out on the counter that looked like it wasn’t supposed to be there since it wasn’t plugged in. It was overall a nice place.

This home is just a short walk from downtown’s mix of locally owned restaurants, wine bar, craft beer, a whiskey lounge, and live music on weekends. I live next door and enjoy being part of what our downtown scene offers. I also value the town’s strict noise ordinance, which ensures everything is quiet at midnight. Your comments help set expectations for future guests and ensure they choose a stay that suits their preferences. Regarding the Windex bottle — thank you for pointing that out. I noticed it after your departure and will follow up with our cleaner to make sure that doesn’t happen again. As for the lamp on the bar, a previous guest requested additional lighting at the high-top for a second workspace, and I had instructed it be left in place for flexibility. Still, I appreciate your perspective. A respected interior decorator played a part in this home's interior. I take pride in maintaining a thoughtfully styled space, and your insight helps me fine-tune the experience for everyone. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable stay that fits perfectly with the relaxed, small-town charm of our community.
