The inn sleeps 16-24 in beds and add a cottage/house or vintage campers to accommodate 2-30+ more. Relax by the heated pool with auto cover and hot tub, enclosed for indoor swimming all winter long; shared with our other cottages --but lots of seating options and room for everyone to spread out. We also have a new barn venue that overlooks the pool--great for groups/weddings/reunions (can seat up to 75). The Barn includes ping pong, pool table, arcade game system, bathrooms, tables/chairs, and more.

Come and stay in the heart of Harbor Country on 30 secluded acres of woods with hiking trails, river and stream, orchards, organic farm, and prairie less than one mile from the beaches of Lake Michigan. Pets are NOT allowed in the inn (but are allowed in our cottages or vintage campers).

The inn is normally ran as a bed & breakfast but we have opened our doors to make it available as a group Vacation Rental for select dates/weeks (in order to give ourselves some needed breaks during the year!). If you have a smaller group and do not require the entire property, then we can likely accommodate you with the inn or individual cottages. The Goldberry Woods Inn includes over 6,500 sq ft of space to relax. Each of the 8 bedrooms/suites includes a private bath with double jacuzzi tub with shower or walk-in marble shower, gas fireplace, large streaming tv with Blu-Ray player and Satellite channels, WiFi, and a hand-crafted king or queen bed made by a local artisan using native Michigan trees, featuring luxurious bedding. Three of the rooms include additional, private sleeping areas/bedrooms (great for families, total of 11 different sleeping areas). Though the Inn features vintage and unique décor and furniture, we will provide you with classic comfort including luxury linens and immaculate rooms. Indoor amenities of the Inn include a fully-stocked kitchen with all the pans and dishes you'll need; a dining room with wood-burning fireplace and seating for 24 people; a laundry area; a large living room with board games, books, and a wood-burning stove; and a 4-season sun room with couches and chairs, a 65" streaming tv, a game/puzzle table, and a large selection of DVD's to watch. Sit by one of the windows and watch the birds at the feeders or relax with a game or puzzle by a roaring fire.

Outdoor amenities include numerous decks overlooking the gardens with tables/chairs and a Weber gas grill; fire pit with free firewood; seasonal games including bags, badminton, bocce; bicycles to borrow to ride to the beach or explore the back roads; a large custom multi-level play set featuring climbing walls, swings, slide; a fruit orchard and organic farm; kayaks and canoes to float peacefully down our river; and 20+ acres of serene woods with hiking trails to explore (a truly beautiful location).

Creekside Cottage (sleeps 6-8, 1300 sq ft) includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It includes a full kitchen, dining area, laundry room, large screened porch, jacuzzi tub in master bath, living room with leather sectional sofa and wood-burning fireplace with stone hearth, streaming TV with DVD, Weber gas BBQ, and fire pit. The River’s Edge House includes 2,900 sq ft with 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8-12+, including a bunk room), 4 full baths, river views from most rooms, full kitchen with breakfast bar and separate dining room, large screened porch, laundry room, living room with large leather sectional, gas fireplace, WiFi, and large streaming TV with cable/Blu-ray DVD player. Lastly, we also have two vintage campers available (each sleeps 2). Tucked at the edge of our woods under the majestic old pine trees, they feature all of the amenities you would want in a glamping experience. Combined, our 6 buildings/units include over 13,000 sq ft, 20 bedrooms, 19 full baths, 6 kitchens/fire pits/BBQ's, tons of fireplaces, and can sleep 20-50+ people. There are tons of activities in the immediate area, including exploring the beaches and dunes (our amazing, quiet local beach is a mile away, Warren Dune state park is 10 minutes, and Indiana Dunes National Park is just 20 minutes away), antique/vintage shops, art galleries, lots of great small towns to explore, bakeries, children’s museums, botanical gardens, horseback riding, fishing/boating, zoo, golf, fun park with go-carts and mini-golf, casino, movies, microbrews, wineries, organic distillery, and tons of fantastic restaurants!
