The Space:

The Tree House is a new-construction modern home in central Joshua Tree. Sliding doors open the living room to a fully fenced backyard, where the pool sits just outside, and both bedrooms, one king and one queen, have sliding patio doors of their own. Two bathrooms include a circular indoor tub, and a chef's kitchen, a coffee bar and a Sonos sound system make it easy to settle in. It suits couples and small groups who want a central base with a full backyard to come home to. Start the coffee, open every door, and let the morning drift in.

-Outdoor Amenities-

Open the sliding doors and the in-ground pool is right outside the living room, with a fountain and lights for evening swims. The fully fenced backyard also has a hot tub for stargazing, a fire pit, hammocks, sun loungers and an outdoor dining area, plus an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the pool. Yoga mats are provided for a morning session outside.



-Living Area-

The living room opens straight to the pool through sliding doors, so inside and out feel like one space. Three smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu and more and a Sonos sound system cover movie nights and music.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The chef's kitchen has room to cook real meals, and a coffee bar with a mini fridge keeps mornings easy. Take dinner out to the outdoor dining area by the pool.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The Tree House has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, and each has a sliding patio door. The home has two bathrooms, including a circular indoor tub.



-Surrounding Area-

The Tree House is in central Joshua Tree, with downtown and Joshua Tree National Park both easy outings. Pioneertown and Pappy and Harriet's, La Copine and Palm Springs fill out the rest of the map. Spend the day hiking or browsing local shops and cafés, then come back for a swim.

The Tree House sits in a central Joshua Tree location on paved roads, with cell phone service.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



There are no dirt roads on the way to The Tree House.



Other Things to Note:

-EV Charging-

The 220V outlet can be used for EV charging. Please bring your own Tesla cord, as we do not provide one.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

► Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No external speakers allowed.

► Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

► Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time. Please rinse off oils and lotions before entering, keep the cover on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tub, please.



-Pool Heating Fee-

Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.



► $250 for the first night, $150 for the second night and $100 per night after



During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there is an exterior camera located at the driveway, which monitors vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage is available at the property, though reception can vary by carrier.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
