We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and the house was so comfortable for our 11 family members. There was an issue with the hot water heater not working midway through our stay. Host made accommodations for the inconvenience and allowed us access to another property across the street for showering as no plumbers were able to come until the following week.

Fantastic Ski Chalet for Group Trips

We had a terrific stay at the chalet. The kitchen is well suited to cooking and dining with groups. The fireplace provides the perfect apres hangout spot. Would stay again.

Perfect for multi family stay

This is a beautiful house with a set up that works well for a couple families to stay on the hill together. The kitchen is well stocked and there was ample space for everyone. Checking in and out was a smooth process too.

Wedding stay

We rented this place to accommodate our family needs for the wedding at Eagles nest Restaurant. Its relatively close to the gondola (850 m) and the place was very clean and cozy. We stayed 4 nights.

Perfect location for skiing and Kicking Horse fun!

We really enjoyed the home! Had everything we needed for a family getaway! Equipped kitchen, warm fire and perfect location. Beautiful views! Easy walk to slopes and easy ski back right to the driveway. Would totally recommend this home!

Great stay at Dunvegan!

Great stay at Dunvegan! Home was beautiful and spacious. Stayed here for a girls weekend with 15 girls and there was plenty of space. Owners were very helpful and responded promptly to all questions. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this home to others.

Awesome place to stay!!

This was an incredible home to rent for the week. The listing is extremely accurate in regards to the location and the photos truly reflected the rental appearance and amenities. When we arrived the home was very clean and well maintained. The beds were awesome and the cozy duvets!!. Lots of towels also, everything was there that we needed to make our stary very enjoyable.

Mountain Beauty

Our group had a lovely escape to the mountains. The accommodations were exactly as pictured and perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space and beautiful finishes, complete with a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was incredible to cook in. Excellent for a group or a couple of families. The owners were very easy to deal with and incredibly helpful - highly recommend.

Lovely home

3 families stayed 4 nights in this BEAUTIFUL well appointed home. I most enjoyed the great room with its cozy atmosphere and roaring fire. The bed in the master was very comfy and the linens were wonderful. Very open layout, spacious. Jon was a pleasure to deal with and we will all have very fond memories of our stay at Dunvegan.

Awesome home. Everything described is exactly what we experienced. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, great room was the best; just overall a beautiful place. We enjoyed the 'real' fireplace and appreciated the wood stocked. The hot tub was wonderful to have and we used it daily. Can not say enough about this property, it was perfect. Thanks Gabe.

Incredible vacation property! Best home with best nightly rate!

A group of us rented this property for the May long weekend and it was a very wise decision! The pictures do not do it justice. Very high ceilings and incredible craftsmanship throughout the home. Slept 10 people comfortably. The attention to detail was fantastic with the whole house absolutely spotless upon arrival. If your looking to rent a property at Kicking Horse Resort look no further! Amazing Kicking Horse Ski-in Cottage

Gabriel’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our group of 6. Everything in the house was extremely organized, and all of the rooms were immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials, and the heated floors made for a very comfortable after-ski experience. It was a great feeling to ski back home, put our gloves/boots onto the air dryer, take a quick shower, and then jump into the very spacious hot tub. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here next year for our annual ski trip!

Fantastic place. Maximum flexibility with bed arrangements to accommodate men’s ski trip. Easy ski out. Short Walt to ski in. Hot tub very clean. BBQ new and even burning heat. Bed mattresses in places some guys did not like because they were a bit soft and lumpy but each had their preference. Kitchen and common spaces very roomy and accommodating to large group. Would stay here again.

Gorgeous ski in chalet!

We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful spacious chalet. Ski in from Kicking Horse and enjoy your evening in the hot tub recovering! The owner was very quick to respond to any concerns we had pre-vacation and during. One of my favorite added bonuses was the food donation with leftover groceries...we were able to leave any unused food behind rather than remove and it was put to a good cause. TV situation was a bit challenging due to all the devices but once you got the hang of it, it was great to have all the options. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Beautiful Home on the ski hill

The first picture in the VRBO listing is the fireplace. I thought that was curious until I sat in front of the fireplace for four days. First thing after skiing - start a fire. This is a well equipped vacation house. Great kitchen to work in. Clean with comfortable beds. It is about a 200 metre walk to ski out. The walk get the stiffness out. Truely ski in. Gabe is easy to communicate with. Very responsive. Recommend rental
