Parking was a bit wonky with the town rulesEasy directions on accessing property Very clean*Light on bunk room was difficult to turn on*Fan is close to head on top bunk
We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean and very nice. The owner/property manager definitely has a good attention to detail the apartment seems to be very well taken care of. Only drawback I can think of was the parking was on the street with the side of the street alternating every other day. It did not cause us any issues whatsoever but something to keep in mind.
I visit Syracuse at least once every year, and this has been by far the best lodging I have ever found at a reasonable price. A lovely, old, two family house, lovingly restored with some original floors, doors, and columns. Good up to date kitchen and 3 comfortable bedtooms. Only one bathroom, but thats how these houses were built. The apartment I rented is on the second floor, up a narrow staircase. Good up to date kitchen. Nice, leafy, middle class neighborhood in the nicest part of Eastwood, bordering a large park. I am a solo traveler of 78 years, and i felt very comfortable walking in the neighborhood. Very good host who provided excellent instructions and useful information. I will book here every time I visit Syracuse. A real find.
We had a quick stay here before flying out of SYR at the end of our Finger Lakes vacation. It served as a great launching point to check out the Lake (15 minutes from Onondaga Lake Park), Destiny USA (10 minutes) and Downtown Syracuse (7 minutes). We appreciated how spacious it is, the great Samsung smart TV, and though we didn't use the Kitchen, it was clean and well stocked. While we felt fairly safe in the neighborhood overall, we made sure to take precautions to not leave any valuables in our vehicle as is wise to do in most any city. Syracuse has certain parking requirements, which we appreciated the clear communication about from our host. Our only small complaint was the used toiletry items left behind from previous guests in one of the bathroom cabinets, and some dusty blinds, but they didn't bother us too much and hopefully those can be quick and easy fixes to improve the experience for future guests.
