Minnesota Point Beach House 1-Spectacular Lake Superior View

This is the perfect place for a getaway! There are miles of sandy beach along the shore of Lake Superior right out the back door. You are close (4 blocks) to the aerial lift bridge, Canal Park, and downtown Duluth. The house was newly remodeled in the spring of 2012 to include fireplace and sauna. Main level and upstairs have amazing views of Lake Superior (you can see the lake while relaxing in the claw-foot tub). Downstairs includes washer/dryer, Foosball, and air-hockey table.

We had such a great weekend at the Beach House - 1. This was our second time staying at this house, We have previously stayed at the Beach House 5. Beach House 1 is a great location! It's a quick walk to the bridge and Canal Park. My kids had so much fun at the beach. Heather is a great host and responds quickly to questions. We will be back!

Comfortable and relaxing get-away

This property was exactly as listed - clean and comfortable, excellent location for access to Duluth and North Shore. Loved the immediate access to the beach to watch the lake and take long walks. Our family had a great week here!

Perfect Lake Superior Beach House

This is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable house. Wonderful spot to enjoy the sunrise and walks on the beach of Lake Superior. Short walk to the Lift Bridge and Canal Park.

In town for a wedding

Superior house

This house is beautifully remodeled. Every piece of furniture including the beds were very comfortable. Heather is a fantastic host. None better than her in all my VRBO stays. Kitchen is nicely appointed and has everything you need to cook.

This was our fourth consecutive winter trip to the beach house. It’s always spotless and manages to be both cozy & more than spacious enough for two of us. Heather and Steve are always kind and responsive owners… they left me a birthday card 🙂 Come for the sauna, stay for the sauna.

Duluth trip

Property was as advertised. Well stocked with everything needed in kitchen, as well as towels and linens. Heather was very easy to communicate with, and accommodating. Location of house is convenient to the event center, shopping and restaurants on S. Lake rd. Also easy drive to downtown. If you like to watch the maritime traffic entering and laving Duluth the location is once again ideal.

Park Point Paradise

Everything about this stay was good from the moment we walked in & saw the incredible view up to the day we had to leave. The house was clean & comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked & had nice appliances. Bathrooms also well stocked & the downstairs shower with the extra jets was awesome. The bedrooms were quiet & comfortable. We used the fireplace in the living room each night. The deck in the backyard was nice in the morning with the sunshine. Great proximity to the lift bridge & across to Canal Park where we watched several ships coming & going. Would definitely return for another stay!

Great Duluth home, right on the lake

The house was very clean and updated. It was right on the beach, which my kids loved! Super close to canal park and we walked there several times. We are already talking about re-booking this home for next summer!

Steve and I (Heather) have lived in Duluth for the past 25 and 20 years, respectively. We call it home now and have a tough time seeing ourselves living elsewhere. Lake Superior has a draw and we've been mesmerized since moving here. We both love the water and spend a significant amount of our free time walking the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, canoeing and fishing. We love this area and always look forward to coming home when we've gone on vacation.

What makes this property unique

You'll have direct access to the largest freshwater lake in the WORLD (Lake Baikal in Russia is largest by volume, Lake Superior is largest by surface area)!

You are 5 blocks away for the farthest inland port in the world.

You are 5 blocks away from one of the largest lift bridges in the United States. There you can view Ocean and Great Lake ships from less than 100 feet as they enter and leave the port.

Minnesota Point is surrounded by water and the Aerial Lift Bridge is the only point of access by land. You are essentially on an island!
