What you will love about this home:
Spacious 2-bedroom oceanfront penthouse with soaring ceilings, warm natural light, and a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for active retired couples seeking both comfort and adventure. Enjoy direct sea views from both bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room, plus sunrise coffee on the expansive wrap-around balcony. Spend your days walking the beach, swimming, or enjoying water sports, then unwind at Martinis, the on-site thatched-roof restaurant and bar, before returning to your peaceful home in Cabarete.
What you will love about this neighborhood:
Located about 1.5 km from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cabarete, our home offers a peaceful, breezy setting while still keeping you close to everything you need. It’s an easy 20‑minute walk along the beach and main road to town and the main grocery store, or just a 5‑minute ride on a local guagua (shared minibus) if you prefer to hop on with the locals. Cabarete itself is a world‑class kiteboarding destination and is often called the adventure sports capital of the Caribbean, with plenty of options for both gentle and more adventurous activities.
Additional information:
Safety: Cabarete East Beachfront Condos are located within a secure, gated community with attentive and friendly staff, offering both safety and peace of mind.
Cleanliness: The unit is professionally cleaned before every swap, so you can expect fresh linens and spotless bathrooms upon arrival.
Communication: I’m responsive on the app and happy to arrange a video call prior to confirming any swap, so you can feel completely comfortable.
Luggage Assistance: The unit is on the third floor (no elevator), which is great for a bit of built-in exercise—but if you prefer help, the onsite staff are responsive and always available to assist with carrying luggage.
Ease of Coastal Living:
Enjoy the convenience of complimentary weekly basic cleaning (Wednesday mornings). Spend your mornings walking miles of sandy beaches or unwinding with a swim in the pool. And when cooking is not on the agenda, the onsite beach-style restaurant offers flavorful American and Dominican food at prices that make dining out easy.
Drinking Water:
Because tap water in the Dominican Republic is not recommended for drinking, the kitchen includes a convenient reverse osmosis drinking tap for your peace of mind. No need to order bottled water.
House Rules & Fees:
Just a couple of simple house rules to keep things pleasant for everyone:
We’re a non‑smoking, pet‑free home, so there’s no smoking inside the apartment and we aren’t able to host pets. There is a one‑time move‑out cleaning fee of 60 USD, which covers a thorough clean and washing of all linens after your stay, so you don’t have to worry about doing a deep clean before you leave.
Electricity Use:
Electricity is charged based on actual meter readings at move-in and move-out. Please pay directly to the administrator when checking out.
Because electricity is quite expensive in the Dominican Republic and air conditioning uses a lot of power in the tropics, we kindly ask guests to use the AC mindfully—keeping doors and windows closed while it’s on, and turning it off when you go out—so you stay comfortable without wasting energy.
