We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The peaceful, private setting was beautiful, with fall foliage, ponds, and deer sightings in the mornings and evenings. We were sorry when it was time to leave.  Heather is a wonderful host and was immediately responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend this home to others.

Very clean house! You get a nice private woodsy feel without being too far from town. Exploring the ponds was especially fun!

This was our second stay at Rustic Woods and it was just as wonderful as our previous stay. The attention to detail that Heather provides is beyond anything else I have experienced. Upon entering the house, there are sweet treats welcoming guests and the decor is very welcoming. The location of the house is perfect as it is within 5-10 miles of the conveniences of stores and restaurants but is in a country setting with woods, ponds and wildlife. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing! What a beautiful treasure hidden away in the mountains. Clean, cozy, and breathtaking surroundings. Heather is a wonderful host and extremely communicative and friendly. I would most certainly stay here again!

The house and property were perfect, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Quiet mornings sitting on the front porch having coffee and enjoying the surroundings was the best part of the day. Wish we would have planned more time, but we will be back!I was born & raised in the area and it is perfectly situated to enjoy everything from Pittsburgh sports to skiing to visiting the flight 93 memorial, all of the Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the area. Fall day trips just driving around enjoying the beautiful colors was always a favorite of mine.Heather was instant with her communication, you have a question you don’t wait for hours for a response.Thank you Heather for having last minute accommodations, we look forward to a return visit!

Peaceful getaway in the woods

Our family had an event in LaTrobe and if we are lucky enough to be invited to the event next year, we would stay here again. The host is the most gracious, responsive that I have ever dealt with and the property is nestled in an incredible lot in the woods with all kinds of wildlife sightings. The property is also very well equipped, it felt like a home away from home!

The place is amazing. The house is beautiful with lots of natural wood and windows. No cookie cutter layout here. The grounds are lush with ponds, vegetation and wildlife. Heather's attention to every little detail provides a comfortable and relaxing stay.

This home is gorgeous. It was incredibly clean and comfortable with the host being very welcoming. We had five of us (myself, husband, two kids -- 7 & 3 -- and my mom) and we all were blown away my the property. My kiddos (who live in the city and never want to move so they claim.... now want to live here.) Since I know twin beds have a rep for being uncomfy, I can say: these ones were very comfortable. I shared one with my youngest as she still rolls out of bed and we slept great. I definitely recommend this house. The landscaping around the home was also beautiful with the ponds being a special treat to watch koi swim around lotus flowers.

Quiet place to work

I needed a place to work after losing electricity at my home and office for a week. It is a beautiful location and property. It had the high speed internet I needed to connect to customers. Beautiful place to connect with nature but still close enough to town to not be inconvenient. Heather was very accommodating and I had a positive experience.
