Cottage was in a great location; town was quaint and walkable. We discovered a lovely walk to town across the street around the park. Host was very responsive with suggestions on where to eat and where to go for fishing info. Cottage was clean and well-appointed with a large kitchen and comfortable living area. However, sleeping areas were a little cramped for our family of six (2 seniors, 2 adults, 2 teenagers) with all our luggage. And one of the bathrooms, which was not pictured, was a challenge as the shower was not separate from the toilet and sink. Our remedy was to share the ensuite shower or use towels to dry floor after showering.
The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. Lovely, bright, very clean with a spacious kitchen and located right across from the park. It was a perfect base for my day trips up to Connemara and also to areas south of Galway. An easy walk into town for groceries, dinner at a pub or just for a drink and music at Clancy's. The host, Kathleen was easy to reach on VRBO and responded quickly.
