Porto De Mós overlooks the 1.5 km white sand beach of Porto De Mós which is amongst one of the most sought after areas in the Algarve.

This villa boasts exceptional specification overlooking the beach & the ocean, dolphins can frequently be seen crossing the bay from the veranda.

The bustling center of nearby Lagos is only 3 km drive and offers countless attractive restaurants, high quality shopping and a vibrant night life with clubs and bars to suit all tastes.

Porto De Mos is ideally situated to take advantage of the western Algarve's exceptional golf courses and facilities as well as other outdoor activities including surfing and fishing with sea fishing trips leaving from Lagos marina several times a day.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to two quality restaurants & a further Michelin guide restaurant; all within a few minutes walk of the development.

The villa is totally walled in providing good security, there is a good sized swimming pool set in gardens with outside shower, ample non slip terracing with sun beds, large balcony with dining table & chairs with views down to the beach and out to the ocean. The beach is approx. a 3-4 minute walk away.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to many quality beach restaurants , all within a few minutes walk of the development

Too cool to use the pool in October. Wonderful beach view and lots of outdoor space to enjoy climate. House was perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood…perfect place to wind down….and everything we needed was easily accessible. Very comfortable home.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The layout of the place was perfect for 2 families with kids of different ages, and the pool was a huge hit with the kids!

My husband and I stayed here with 2 other couples. Property was beautiful, spotless, better than described! Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Cooked a few of our own meals - charcoal grill. Beach view amazing. Easy access to beach in about 5 minutes as well as 2 beach restaurants. Highly recommend Campimar! John the host was excellent - very responsive with clear communication. He was friendly and answered all questions. No problem parking on dead end street. Did not use pool since there was much to do in the area. Perfect location! Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great stay

We were a group of 4 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well equipped and communication was excellent. A short walk down to the beach and two excellent restaurants. Would love to come back again.

The best spot on the algarves

The house was amazing from check in to check out - easy check in and out - I’ll drink coffee and a glass of wine from that balcony anytime I’m in Pria de Mos ! Great kitchen, pool and living quarters!

Beautiful property close to the beach

Great location close to town and a beautiful beach. Great views from the terrace and easy access walking to the beach. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was great too! John George was very responsive and easy to communicate with. There were minimal supplies provided so shopping will be needed for essentials.

Place was nice with plenty of accessories to make you feel at home. John was very responsive to our questions and needs. Location was great and easy Ubers to anywhere you wanted to go. We all had a great time.

We were a party of 9. 6 adults and 3 children. The villa was ideal for a large party. The pool was fantastic and the large balcony was superb for evening meals. We would stay again. John our host was superb.

Beautiful views from the balcony to the Atlantic. As described a short 5 minute walk downhill directly to the beach. Very clean, lots of plates, glasses, pans etc for easy cooking at home options. Quiet neighborhood, but yet 5 min drive to Lagos, great location.

Amazing view of and access to the ocean

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood. There was only 6 of us, but it could easily handle 12. Ocean was only 7 minutes away with a phenomenal beach. George was very responsive to our questions leading up to our visit. He even sent pictures of how to access the property, gate etc. Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Fabulous Home

Easy check in. Tons of space to spread out & relax. More than enough lounge chairs by pool. House was spotless & a 2 minute walk to beach. Restaurants on beach were excellent. No need to even have a car. Great for groups of friends & family

Great location and enjoyed our stay

Overall lovely stay. However, a few things could definitely be improved. The furniture and decor is tired. The place is completely empty of household goods eg. detergent, cleaning items, spare toilet paper, additional bath towels, beach towels, cooking basics (S&P, oil etc). The master bedroom toilet was broken for 4 out of the 7 days of our stay.

Great villa, close to the beach, quiet residential area

Great for a relaxing family holiday by the beach, well equipped with everything you might need. We spent our time by the pool most days, couple of days at the beach on the jet skis / kayaks / paddle boards. We ate at the villa in the evenings with BBQs etc. Balcony looks out onto the sea. Mattresses were a bit springy and could have been better but small issue on scale of things. Wouldn’t stop us going back. Not much going on around the villa as it’s in a nice quiet residential area which suited us just fine. We had a couple of trips out. Having your own car is really useful.

Lagos Getaway

We had a great stay! There were 8 adults on this trip and we had plenty of space. The view from the outside seating area was very nice, and we were able to see dolphins from the house. The kitchen was big and there were cooking utensils available. We parked our car on the curb outside of the house and were able to keep it there for duration of stay, no issues. It was a close walk to the beach and some of the beach restaurants. It was also close to the grocery stores if you want to cook at the house instead of going out. The host was very responsive and assisted when we found ants on the bottom floor (ants are normal in this area). This house was a great place to stay to be able to relax and stay away from the big cities. I would recommend this place if traveling in a big group!

Location Location Location

Awesome location between Lagos and the sweet little town of Luz. Just above the best beach, Mos beach has everything you could want or need in a beach, including stunning views. Walk the cliffs to Luz for lunch and shopping and Uber home. The house had all the necessities, well equipped kitchen including 2 refrigerators and dishwasher. Minimal courtesy supplies, bring body wash and shampoo. Clothes washer very handy. A traditional style house, 2 of the 5 bedrooms are connected and share a bathroom, not a problem for an extended family, but offers less privacy for couples. Over all a great stay!

Great location

Great space for 2 families. The pool was clean and refreshing. Could have used some umbrellas and side tables at the pool. The views from the upper terrace were spectacular and there were lots of spaces to sit. A wifi extender to the lower level bedrooms would be a welcomed improvement. Being 4min walk to the beach was fantastic. Water was safe to drink. We felt very safe everywhere. Uber was very accessible and quick and we could walk into town easily. The garbage situation is not ideal as garbage disposal should not need to be dealt with by renters at such a lovely property. The host was super responsive and helpful. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

4 Bedroom villa at Porta do Mar

The villa itself is very well proportioned, was very clean and well furnished. There was no 'welcome pack' and no directions to any shops. The beds were a little hard compared to what we are used to. The area surrounding the villa does not have any shops (the nearest supermarket being in the outskirts of Lagos). The local restaurant on the beach at Porta do Mar was very mediocre. The best restaurant (The Dophin) and golf course was in Luz, about 15 minutes drive.

Beautiful home in great location

House was for 11 family members from age 20 to 84. Very comfortable and had what we needed. There is a nice pool - which can be heated for 400 euros per week - which is a rip off. Pool was fine to take a quick swim - and kids would not mind the temperature. I’m glad there is a washing machine that is free to use - as some previous reviews questioned the reason for coin operated washing machine. No more ping pong table or pool table which was a bummer. Kitchen was fully equipped w 2 refrigerators and plenty of glassware. With 11 people staying at the house for 6 days, there was not enough toilet paper and we did have to get more. Overall a great place to stay.

Having lived in Portugal most of my adult life & loving this part of the Algarve, especially Lagos, Porto de Mós was the obvious choice as it still retains its typical Portuguese charm and as this is where I live it seemed the right choice to provide high quality holidays right here

The 'location' - the Surveyor told me that there are no more than 100 properties along the whole Algarve Coastline in such a location
