Porto De Mós overlooks the 1.5 km white sand beach of Porto De Mós which is amongst one of the most sought after areas in the Algarve.

The villa boasts exceptional specification overlooking the beach & the ocean, dolphins can frequently be seen crossing the bay from the veranda.

The bustling center of nearby Lagos is only 3 km drive and offers countless attractive restaurants, high quality shopping and a vibrant night life with clubs and bars to suit all tastes.

Porto De Mos is ideally situated to take advantage of the western Algarve's exceptional golf courses and facilities as well as other outdoor activities including surfing and fishing with sea fishing trips leaving from Lagos marina several times a day.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to two quality restaurants & a further Michelin guide restaurant; all within a few minutes walk of the development.

The villa is totally walled in providing good security, there is a 11x6m swimming pool set in gardens with outside shower, ample non slip terracing with sun beds, large balcony with dining table & chairs with views down to the beach and out to the ocean. The beach is approx. a 3-4 minute walk away.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to many quality beach front restaurants, all within a few minutes walk of the development

John was a great host, he gave detailed instructions on getting to the house and responded very promptly to all questions The house was so beautiful and a short walk right to the beach and very close to anything we wanted to do! I highly recommend staying here in Lagos!!

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful time staying at the villa. Location was amazing, very short walk to the beach. Pool was amazing, kitchen had everything you need and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Would 100% recommend.

We spent 7 nights in this beautiful villa, with 3 couples. The home is simply stunning and in a fantastic location in Lagos. Walking distance to the beautiful beach and 2 restaurants, and a short drive to old town Lagos. Communication with the host John was great, and very prompt. The private pool and extensive outdoor lounge chairs, dining sets and chairs were perfect. Highly recommended , A all around!

Summer Vacation

This was a perfect house for 2 families to gather and vacation for the week. The house is set up nicely for large gatherings, but also has several spots where small groups can gather for a little quiet time. We loved it!

Trip summer of 2023

We were a 3 families of 4 (total 12 people) and we all stayed comfortably. The house is beautiful, clean and the location can’t be beat. I highly recommend this stay for a big group. The host (John) was also very attentive and easy to work with.

Great Location

My family and another family stayed in Lagos for the final leg of our vacation in Portugal. The house was in a perfect location, our teenagers could easily walk down to the beach. The house was larger enough for both families to have their own space and still be together. Good restaurants near by and very easy to get Ubers from the house to downtown Lagos, also short drive to Luz, Salema and other surrounding towns. Host was helpful and response time was good. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house for groups of couples to enjoy nights on terrace overlooking ocean

The house was very nice and well appointed. All the rooms were en suites and an extra half bath. The terraces and pool were awesome. Plenty of seating - in dining room, living room, terrace, and pool deck. A gate leads to a quick walk to the beach (very nice with restaurants, bars, chairs to rent, and lifeguards). We had a few very minor issues (needed to find a lightbulb, a circuit breaker getting tripped, etc) and the owner was so quick to respond.

Beautiful Stay in Lagos

We had a wonderful stay in Lagos at The Beach Villa with Panoramic Views. It did not disappoint! The views were spectacular! The villa was private, and super comfortable for us, and we were a group of six, with room to spare. The property has a beautiful pool, and a gorgeous beach, with 2 great restaurants, within a very short walk, and we enjoyed our coffee, and breakfast each morning, as well as our Happy Hour on the deck, each night. Lagos is a very short drive away, with tons of shops, super markets, restaurants, bars, and many activities. Also, the owner was very helpful, met us at check in, and responded quickly to our questions, and comments.

The villa was everything we thought it would be the layout suited our family get together giving everyone the space they needed the bedrooms are lovely and en-suites huge. The kitchen is very well equipped, the pool was a big hit with plenty of sunbeds and towels etc. We had excellent correspondence throughout the booking and all emails answered promptly. The villa is excellently placed to the beach and the two bars/restaurants on the beach we ate at Antonio's on one of the evenings. We also travelled to Praia de Luz a little busier than Porto de Mos but worth a visit. We also used Ubers to travel into Lagos which I can highly recommend in the evenings for food drink and local entertainment the Uber was on 4.40 euros we couldn't believe how cheap it was and only 6 mins drive very convenient if you like to eat out. We also managed to get a taxi back from the taxi rank at Old Town. I would highly recommend the villa and the area it was peaceful yet close to many amenties the local intermarche was only a few minutes drive down the road and extremely well stocked with everything you'll need. Will we return most definately.

Portugal Pivot

Great location and view with short walk to fabulous beach. Check in requires a training session to discover everything in the house as quite large. There were no instructions on premise. Each bedroom has it’s own ensuite which was amazing. Fifth bedroom had a sewer smell, bbq is charcoal and house needs a bin for recycling and a garbage can in kitchen. Gonna give this a 8.5 out of 10!

Beautiful Property! Perfect for Our Family Reunion!

We had 9 adults needing to fit in a VRBO for a family reunion. This place was wonderful! Beautiful views, large gathering places, washer/dryer, and gorgeous pool. It's also a 5 minute walk to the beach and only 20 minute walk to the restaurants in the city. The only complaint is that there wasn't a welcome packet or something to get settled in. We had to message him personally for the check in/check out information, and then when we had questions about washer/dryer, internet, pool towels, etc. we had to wait for him to respond to us. He was usually quick to respond - normally just 20 minutes - but it would have been easier to just have a welcome packet with all that info in it.

Flott stort hus med super beliggenhet. Deilig med bad til hvert soverom. Minus for manglende utelys på terrasse, på noen lamper på soverom og i basseng. Kunne også vært ryddet litt mer opp for blader på terrassene. Hadde vært fint med et infoskriv om hvordan håndtere søppel o.l. men alt i alt veldig fornøyde.

Fantastic house near Lagos

The house was a perfect base for us to enjoy time together as a family. Plenty of space in the house, great facilities and a very short walk to the beach. Just 5 min drive from Lagos meant there was lots on offer in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Maison idéale pour un séjour entre amis🤗

La maison est parfaite, très confortable. Elle est idéalement située, à quelques mètres de la plage et très proche du super village de Lagos . Restaurants à proximité… Je recommande cette location 🤗 Petit bémol : la piscine n’était pas chauffée !

Great Location

Great location. We were a family of 11. Villa very clean, lots of space, terrific view of beach/sea. Two minor cons - poor lighting in the kitchen and weak wifi. Any problems we had were dealt with within 2hrs. Beach within 5 min walk. Two beach restaurants to choose from. If you want to rent beach chairs + umbrella, get there before 9.30am. 5 min drive to supermarket, 15 min to Lagos.
