THE SPACE
Step outside to your private stone patio with lounge seating, a gas fire pit, and an enclosed outdoor shower, perfect after a beach day. Beach gear is provided, including towels, chairs, and a cooler.

Additional comforts include hotel-quality linens, fluffy towels, board games, and books for relaxed evenings in. We look forward to hosting you at this thoughtfully curated island retreat—peaceful, refined, and moments from everything Martha’s Vineyard has to offer.

GUEST ACCESS
The suite is a fully private, attached unit with separate entrances and no shared indoor spaces. A locked interior door fully separates the two units, ensuring complete privacy for both you and us. We live quietly in the main house year-round and are typically at work during the day.

One parking space is included in the shared driveway. You’ll also enjoy your own private front and side entrances, patio area, gas grill, and outdoor shower.

While your space is entirely private, you may occasionally see or hear us in our backyard tending the gardens, using the grill, or passing through the shared driveway.

We want your stay to feel easy, comfortable, and entirely your own. Prefer complete privacy? We absolutely respect that. Up for a friendly chat about the island or looking for local recommendations? We’re always happy to connect. We live right next door and are available if you need anything at all during your stay.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
The home is thoughtfully maintained as a fragrance-free environment with fragrance-free and MI/MIC-free products throughout due to chemical sensitivities. We kindly ask that you refrain from using perfumes and outside cleaning or laundry supplies during your stay.

The bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor.

All stays include complimentary professional housekeeping between guests, ensuring a consistently pristine, hotel-quality environment at every arrival.

There is no smoking or vaping indoors, but you are welcome to smoke outside as long as the apartment windows are closed.

Advance Steamship Authority reservations are required for bringing a car to the island, though the location is also highly walkable, bike-friendly, and serviced by public transportation.

The best of Oak Bluffs

Great location near the action, but off the beaten path. Clean, bright and tastefully decorated, and updated. Deck and outdoor shower invite you outside the house. Well appointed with all your vacation needs.

Great house in a great location!

This was a perfect house for our week on island! Centrally located close to Oak Bluffs. Easy to walk or bike anywhere on east chop!! Perfect for our family - great quiet street with lots of birds and bunnies in the yard. Kitchen was well stocked and ideal for cooking and flows well with the living and dining spaces.

Perfect Vacation

My husband and I and our 3 girls loved our vacation at Leah's Landing. As other reviewers have stated, the location is perfect - easy sidewalk walk to town, but private and quiet as well. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us, and the kids loved sleeping in the loft upstairs. The house is clean and bright, and has everything we needed. The updated kitchen was also great! I would definitely recommend renting this house!

A relaxing end of summer getaway

The property was as described. It exceeded our expectations. This host definitely is a premier host. Communication was easy and Rhiannon was very responsive. The property was in a convenient location, nice quiet neighborhood so it worked for us.

Fantastic stay at a beautiful house

Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids had a fantastic time. The location is amazing with only a short 10 min walk to Oak Bluffs but far enough to avoid any noise. The house feels bigger than it what it is on paper because of the open, lofted living and dining area. The house is decorated and equipped thoughtfully and we lacked for nothing. And the owners were very attentive when a minor maintenance arose. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A place of respite

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this lovely home for two weeks. It was exactly what we needed to end the summer. After making waffles in the kitchen, we could spend several hours on the back patio bird watching and relaxing. This central location gives you easy access to the island. The bedroom sizes were generous and gave us shared space for family and individual space for retreat. I'd return to this home with no hesitation.

Family vacation

Leah’s Landing was a fantastic place to stay while vacationing with our family. We were able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated! With two young boys, 6 and 2, we were comfortable in the home. The location is set back from the hustle / bustle of Oak Bluffs center, but you can walk. Although, with two young kids, it was a bit far. Having the daybed in the master worked for us to put our two year old in so we could keep an eye on him. The outdoor shower was great! The owner was very responsive with all communication! They provide a very comprehensive and useful welcome packet with recommendations. We loved our time on island!

Without a doubt this is a 5 star stay. Probably the best rental we’ve ever stayed in and exceeded our expectations. So many amazing details throughout the property and the hosts really have thought through anything you may need while staying there. Our favorite thing was unwinding from the day by the fire pit and outdoor showers after the beach. Well done - Thank you for everything and we hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely getaway

We, six adults, had a great stay at Leah's Landing. Rhiannon and Peter have many little extras to make our stay special. The outside space is great and we enjoyed it when we were home. A short drive to town and the beach. We walked to Tony's Market daily. Master bedroom is fabulous. Large refrigerator is a plus. Overall, very nice property and we enjoyed our stay.

Leahs Landing Stay

Very clean w absolutely all small amenities thought of for the guests. The convenience of Location of Tony’s market and deli less than 5 minute walk very key and should not be overlooked. We were there 3 times for small food and grocery items. Back porch very private with outdoor shower clean and convenient. A window AC unit for master bedroom would be helpful for occasional humid summer nite. Portable fans very helpful. Owner is very responsive to small needs. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful home close to town with everything you could possibly need

Four of us spent the week in August 2020 and had the most wonderful vacation. Rhiannon and Peter were so kind and thoughtful. The house had everything you could possibly want for a relaxing time on The Vineyard-kitchen was well stocked, beach towels and chairs and fun games. The deck looks out onto a peaceful back and active bird feeders which we loved. The house is so lovely and comfortable-we didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful Place to Relax and Enjoy MV

Leah's Landing is a charming home, conducive to rest and relaxation. It is on a quiet street, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough you can really walk to town (or a bit further to the beach). I love to cook, and the kitchen is nicely appointed. We ate most of our meals on the outside deck and enjoyed the "den" area on the deck as well. Perfect place to hang out, relax and enjoy. The hosts, Rhiannon and Peter, are very responsive and coordinate anything you need. Ideal vacation in the Vineyard made better by this welcoming home.

Family House

Wonderful host and house, close to everything!

We very much enjoyed our stay a Leah's Landing! Rhiannon was an amazing host--responsive and attentive at all times. The house was perfect for us. It had a nice, modern kitchen, open floor plan and wonderful deck. Our kids loved the bunk room upstairs. Rhiannon and Peter had thought of everything in terms of furnishings--quality appliances and linens, pots and pans, spices, games, books and cleaning supplies. They even had popsicle molds for the kids! The house also came with a very informative binder with everything we needed to know about the house and the area (restaurants, maps, things to do). Most importantly, the house was a few blocks from Tony's Market (a local favorite), SeaSmoke (a great barbecue restaurant), and was an easy 15-minute walk to Circuit Ave. Our kids (ages 14, 16) were able to walk to and from Circuit Ave. by themselves, even at night. This gave them a lot of autonomy and freed us up from having to drive them . We liked the house so much that we re-booked for 2020 before our stay was even over. Thanks, Rhiannon and Peter for being so kind and accessible. You were amazing hosts! Thanks also for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. We had a ball and can't wait until next year!

Perfect family retreat rental in O.B.

This home was great for our family reunion. It was clean, well equipped (except for a lobster pot), spacious and close to beaches and town yet still private and quiet. Adding an A/C unit to the south facing living/dining room would make it a lot more comfortable during heat waves. Our family had a wonderful time and we hope to return again. Excellent Location and Great Vacation House

We had a great time! The house was incredibly comfortable and well equipped. Check in and check out process was simple. It was nice being close enough to walk into Oak Bluffs through the beautiful gingerbread house campground. But far enough away that you could enjoy quiet nights and fireflies. Being so close to Tony’s market was also awesome for quick errands and supplies. The loft space for the kids was well used. We all had an amazing time!

We enjoyed our stay at Leah's Landing. The house was as shown in the pictures, very clean, very modern with lots of amenities. I thad everything we needed for a relaxing week. Quiet area but close to the downtown of Oak Bluffs.

We live on Martha's Vineyard year-round and have over 25 years of rental expertise. We purchased Leah's Landing in May, 2012 and named it after our daughter whom we lost to cancer in 2011. This beautiful Island helped us make good memories after many difficult ones. We hope your time on the Vineyard is as good for your soul as it has been for ours.
