This cabin is charming and cozy. It’s nicely decorated and well-stocked. We appreciated the selection of coffee pods and the bottle of wine. The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again.

Can’t wait to visit this property again. The owners thought of everything! The place was cozy and very clean. It was so quiet and peaceful; just what we needed after the stress of hosting for Thanksgiving.
It was a little challenging to find with the road system in Big Canoe in the dark, but the hosts were available to help navigate. Once I made it there it was a lovely quiet stay:0)
Thank you for joining us. Glad you had a wonderful time. I love hearing feedback from guests about their experiences. It's our goal to ensure that everyone feels at home and leaves with lasting memories. I look forward to welcoming you again to our little slice of "Peace in a Pod!"
Great stay, wonderful owners and very relaxing. Just what we needed for my wife’s 16th 29th Birthday….. Kids loved the pool, adults loved the peace and quiet. We’ve stayed at a lot of places at Bug Canoe and this is one of our favorites! We will definitely stay here again!

Where do we begin? Peace in a Pod is wonderful! We could have stayed longer for sure. Upon entering, there was holiday music playing on the TV and a few holiday decorations nestled among the comfy decor. That was a nice touch. The beds and pillows are cozy and comfortable - so much so that we didn't want to get out bed to start our days! The jersey sheets added to the comfort. The views from each room are beautiful, too. The living room area has ample, comfortable seating. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies, plenty of plates/cups/bowls/utensils. There were some stocked items in the pantry for our use (ketchup, PAM, salt/pepper, microwave popcorn, etc). The coffee bar was all you'd want - variety of coffee pods for the Keurig and another brewer for a whole pot of coffee. We did bring some creamer (since I'm a creamer snob) but that was not a problem at all. The bathrooms were not palatial (who really needs that?) but were suitable for bathrooming needs - a nice tub/shower, a sink/vanity and a toilet that flushed! The sample lotion provided is lovely! The fireplace was just what we needed as the temps turned quite cold our second night and it added to the already cozy ambiance. We went into Jasper for some downtown shopping and found some sweet, locally owned stored. We found a few treasures, too! We ate lunch at The Old Mulehouse, and, oh my! It was delicious! We had smashburgers that were probably the best I'd ever had! What a delicious decision! This trip = perfect.
