We really enjoyed this cozy home. It’s nicely decorated, and still includes thoughtful touches like chargers and plenty of coffee and flavors of creamer. Our family of three slept well in the comfortable beds. Definitely recommend!
This cabin/home is the place to stay for those of us in need of some peace and quiet. The rustic feel is very comfortable and cozy. Its well appointed bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen will keep you from needing anything. A real gem of a place!
We enjoyed our stay in Big Canoe. Forest Footprints in a cute little cabin with a loft that my son loved because he had his own get away. We also really appreciated the back porch because our dog was able to go out with us!!!
We had a great time. Wonderful location, very quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. If we were to
stay longer, 2 weeks to a month, which we would love to do, we would need to go to a laundromat. Had to get on our knees to use the washer.

Hi Paul, thank you for your review. I am so sorry about the low washer / dryer. It was added after the home was remodeled (it use to be in the basement) so guests would have an opportunity to wash their clothing if desired.
This place is top notch. They have provided everything that could be wanted. Super nice and clean. We have talked about this stay since we left. Seamless check in process. I am already looking at time off so we can stay here again. Thank you so much!
Overall our stay was great. Our host was very attentive and has a NACK FOR DETAIL. The overload of clean cable charges all over the house is a plus. I also love how thoughtful to have feminine products - as they came very handy. The mattresses in both rooms were phenomenal for my back after a good day of hiking and bonding with my daughter. The TV in the living room was nice and big and allowed for us to watch Christmas movies and other shows. Wifi worked great. No issues. Big Canoe is a great gated neighborhood area to stay in . This is my second time staying in Big Canoe and the second amazing cabin experienced. We were about 1 hour from Helen, GA and 50 minutes from Dahlonega. We visited both towns and experienced their charm. I have added this cabin to my Favorites list and hope to visit some time again in the future. Thanks again!

Great little get a way
It was difficult to review this stay. We booked this for a mini vacation for my father. Check out for the family before us was 11 am our check in was at 3 pm. I was contacted by the owner and was told the people never checked out and they could not make contact with them. (We were still on our 12 hour drive). She kept us posted throughout the day. I was beginning to worry about where we would stay if they never showed back up. The owner did tell me she could put us in another house for the night if needed. I specifically rented this place because it had a recliner as my father can not sleep flat on a bed. A lot of properties we viewed did not have a recliner. The cleaners went in and cleaned around the other peoples belongings therefore it was not thoroughly cleaned. We arrived at approximately 930pm (shortly after the other people did). I got to the gate explained the situation and was told I can’t let you in I don’t know what to tell you. We were finally able to make contact with the owner and she explained the situation and we were told we had to wait briefly for the other people to pack their belongings and get out. We waited about an hour. I understand this type of situation has never happened to this specific owner before. She did handle it well but it was an inconvenience for us unfortunately. Other than all of that it was a nice quiet little stay.
