Family stay for a wedding nearby

Good location. Comfy home for our group of 9. Host was unreachable and did not give us check in instructions until day of departure. Cleaners were still cleaning at check in time. Home has dishes and silverware, no cookware if you are planning to make any meals. Needs attention to detail, broken blinds, lamps, holes in the walls. We constantly found ants in the kitchen.

The home was beautiful with sweeping views and magical sunsets. There were some minor housekeeping issues that we addressed and there were lady bug clusters that need to be handled. We had complete control of the heat which we did not really need because the weather was wonderful. There were plenty of dishes and spoons but we traveled with many pots and pans so we were able to create a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. The star of the show was the woodburning fireplace room. Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort this room provided. Lot's of space to spread out and separate any family members that don't speak to each other :).

The house was spacious enough for our party of 10. Clean linens and towels. Ample driveway space. Check in details were not emailed to me until checkout. I had to call VRBO and the direct contact number to finally check into the house. There was an infestation of bees outside the house. This is not an exaggeration, it was dangerous. The kitchen appliances are dated, so while there is a “chefs kitchen” be cautious if preparing a meal. Plenty of space for everyone to eat though! There was no AC on the second floor even after contacting the owner asking for assistance. Overall, the house worked for the weekend. I just wish I knew these few things before booking!
