Maui Turtle Condo - Ocean Front

Come and enjoy the beautiful ocean front Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf. We are located on a sea turtle habitat. Turtle sightings are daily! Relax and watch sunsets paint the sky on the lanai where you may catch view of turtles swimming and whales breaching. Amazing ocean views of the neighboring islands of Lanai and Moloka'i from inside and outside of the condo. Take a dip in the heated saline pool. Fire up the grill on 1 of 3 ocean facing BBQs. Stay cool with the ocean breezes flowing through the louvered windows and updated overhead fans.

Mahina Surf 204 is a comfortably furnished condo designed to allow you to experience the beauty of Hawaii in a tropical setting. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. This condo sleeps up to 6 within the 2 bedrooms (1 master + loft). If you choose to stay in the condo has a fully equipped kitchen which you can still enjoy the view from. There are 2 bathrooms inside (2 showers + 1 tub). We work hard to keep everything updated and to provide plenty of amenities so you'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Located in West Maui between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, and just minutes from Lahaina, this is the perfect spot for both/either a relaxing and/or an adventurous trip! There are plenty of beaches, snorkeling, golfing, restaurants, grocery stores, sites to see, and adventures to go on!

Our family has owned the Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf in Maui, HI for 48 years! The condo was purchased in 1973 by Connie's parents, Bob & Shirley Horrell. Over the years it has seen 4 generations of our family along with many more guests. It truly is a special location to our family. We have enjoyed many years of watching children and grandchildren explore the grounds, snorkeling, boogie boarding, catching geckos, playing cribbage, fishing, standing in amazement watching sea turtles, watching whales breach, and learning to swim both under the sun and stars! We have eaten our fair share of banana bread, apple bananas, mahi mahi tacos and burgers, haupia (coconut ice cream), and many other wonderful local foods! We hope that our rental property can provide you with many memories during your stay!

Connie did a wonderful job of making her house feel at home. She had so many wonderful details, from oils to seasonings, to kids toys and books. She also had so many outside hooks to hang up our wet items from our day of adventuring. She also purchased a screen door for the condo(which hardly other units had) which provided a much needed air flow for the condo. Connie was quick to reply, easy to contact and lovely to work with. The condo was absolutely stunning, the view was breathtaking, the pool, fantastic and the turtles we seen made this condo the perfect place to take your family. My kids are already talking about coming back, which i would not be opposed to! Hopefully some day we will.

The Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf was better than advertised. I'll start with the condo: The owner, Carol, was amazing to work with. She reached out to us right after we finalized the rental and was always there with information and help. Not that we needed any help once we got there! The condo is in tip top shape with plenty of room for our family of four. The views from the balcony were amazing.Mahina Surf is a great complex - the grounds are nice, the BBQ's are great, and the pool was nice after a day of exploring the island. We also thought that the location was perfect - felt like we were right in the middle of the West Shore and everything it has to offer.We will be staying here again in the future!

Perfect Location in Paradise

Our family loved our time here! The location is great, there are many great beaches close by and lots of activities in the area. It was amazing to go visit the sea turtles every day, our record was 13 at one time. We would not hesitate to book this property again in the future!

Lovely stay for a family with two older (ages 11 and 15) boys. My younger liked the pool and my older liked snorkeling near the property. Appreciated having the full kitchen with an oceanfront view!

Amazing views, all day, every day!

This was a great location for everything - views, turtle sighting, beaches, shopping, etc. And the hosts were so nice and quick to respond to all our questions. We saw turtles the first night and the pool was right outside. The ocean waves put you right to sleep. Would definitely stay again.

spectacular view from the lanai!

We loved our stay at turtle condo. We adventured out for fun days of snorkeling at nearby beaches, but also felt very lucky to sit on the lanai in the morning and evening with a pair of binoculars watching turtles and whales. A happy, peaceful place! The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked.

Maui Turtle Condo is beautiful, right on the ocean!

Maui Turtle condo is conveniently located just north of Lahaina & Kanaapali. You can see the ocean & neighboring island from the balcony. We grilled fresh fish on the outdoor grill. There were lots of sea turtles at the property's beach! Highly recommended!

Wonderful Family Stay

My family lives on another part of the island and we stayed at the Turtle Condo for a long weekend to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. The location was beautiful and the condo was comfortable and well appointed. The kids loved the pool and the beaches were great. Saw so many turtles. The grill area was well set up and beautiful for sunset. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the lanai. Thank you for a lovely stay.

LOVED Maui Turtle Condo!

We have used VRBO several times previously and have always been pleased with our rentals. Maui Turtle Condo exceeded our expectations! The location and view were fantastic, the condo was well furnished, and the owners did a great job outlining activities, nearby restaurants to visit, etc. We loved swimming with the turtles! We will stay here again in the future!

Amazing Views

Wonderful property. Right on the water. It was great to listen to the surf from the condo. We saw whales breaching from the condo and enjoyed daily visits to the shore to watch the sea turtles. The pool is warm and great for the kids. Excellent hosts. We'll definitely return to this property if we come back to Maui.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. My husband and I were there with our three teenagers, and we had everything we needed for the week. We loved watching and swimming with the turtles! The view is beautiful, and the complex is quiet and relaxing. We will be back!

Turtle paradise

Loved visiting the turtles on the beach next door every day. One day we saw 26 turtles!! Spent much of every day in the wonderful pool cooling off. Enjoyed visiting nearby Ka’anapali and Lahaina. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

Trilogy Excursions 50th

My sister, niece and myself could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and location. Getting back and forth to Lahaina for the 50th anniversary Luau in honor Trilogy Excursions was a piece of cake. We loved the turtles and the pool, and just everything. Exceptional experience

Since this condo is located directly on the ocean, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and experiencing beautiful ocean breezes every day. An additional bonus was the turtle beach located right next door…so worth seeing. Connie & Joe, owners of this condo, could not have been more accommodating or responsive. You won’t find a better host than these 2 individuals. Such a delightful stay.

Turtle condo

Turtles just off the coast a few steps away from the door and they swim by the rocks seen from the balcony. The condo is clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The view from the balcony is sweeping and sunset is a great time to enjoy the courtyard for the views. The hosts do a great job of providing information of the area and the arrival/departure process. Thanks for a great stay!

A perfect spot

What a nice condo and what an amazing location. It's a wonder we ever left the lanai. We watched whales every day and loved the parade of sea turtles arriving in the afternoon. Sunsets! On the more practical side, the condo was comfortable and well equipped. The complex was a nice size and well maintained.

Why they chose this property

The Maui Turtle Condo is a fantastic location! With beautiful ocean views and the unique turtle habitat we feel we have a very special place! We are away from the crowds so you can relax, but extremely close to some of the world's most beautiful beaches! As many times as we've been to Mahina Surf 204, we are always very eager to return.

'Maui no ka oi' means 'Maui is the best', and we feel the west coast is the best part! We love the area, the quiet, and the location minutes from Ka'anapali, Kapalua, Napili and Lahaina.

What makes this property unique

We work hard to try to provide you with everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. In the last couple of years, we completely remodeled our special paradise: new fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, beautiful travertine floors, comfortable furniture and beds, deck table, lights, fans, painted the condo, new water heater, 50" Smart TV, and wireless internet. We also have beach towels, beach gear, snorkel gear, sand toys and other amenities for you to come and enjoy!

Mahina Surf 204 has been a part of our family for over 48+ years. We have so many fond memories, and hope to make many more. We love our time in Maui, and think you will too.
