Great anniversary retreat with family

This is a beautifully decorated house, very clean and had all the basics needed away from home. The host was very friendly, communicative and very accommodating. The location couldn't be more perfect, the views of the beach are amazing. We had sunrise walks, the convenient of having the house so close to the beach was exquisite. Everyone had a great time while we all gathered for meals around the big dining table. The space in the living room was very cozy for our family to gather. We would definitely come back to this house when we plan time away with family again.

Absolute Bless

Absolutely stunning home and still had that new home smell. The pictures do not do it justice. When you are here in person the home looks even better. The owners took the time to greet us with wine on ice and snacks, beach chairs and toys were at the ready, and the pool is actually a true heated pool. Hands down we would come back to this home if we visit again.

My Family has been enjoying Pleasure Island for over 20 years. The area is peaceful, and everyone is friendly. We decided to build our beach house in 2021, and it was completed in 2022. My family and I spend as much time here as possible.

Why they chose this property

Kure Beach is in between Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher. We chose this location because it is a 3-minute walk to the Kure Beach Pier which has restaurants, bars, and an arcade. 2.5 miles in either direction is Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium or Carolina Beach business district which is home to shopping, restaurant, bars, State Park, and a lot more. The area we selected is very quiet and peaceful and allows for peaceful morning walks along the beach or through the nearby neighborhoods.

What makes this property unique

Our property is one of the largest privately owned beachfront properties on the island. It has 8 large bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 18 guests. Our home is one of only a few that has a large 2nd story private pool. This is unique because you can swim in the pool or lie around the pool deck while seeing the entire beach and ocean.
