We were so happy with our stay - the property has a good amount of space and several rooms for rest and entertainment. The seclusion and privacy of the outdoor space is amazing, and we were so happy to find that the lake was cleared enough to swim near the beach. The opportunity to use the pontoon for fishing was greatly appreciated as well. Would definitely return here in future!
Our extended family enjoyed our time by the lake! The littles loved the shallow water and the sandy beach. Its a fairly shallow and weedy lake so the fisherpeople were disappointed in the fishing results. There were enough spaces throughout the house to spread out and it never felt crowded with the 14 of us. We look forward in going back again.
We traveled with two young children woke up every morning to mouse droppings in one of the bathrooms spiders all over the house big black ants all over the house. We had to mow the grass because the ticks were so bad. They said they couldn’t mow because we had a bounce house up we would’ve taken it down but he never came to the door. The cleaning lady was awesome. She brought us toilet paper and garbage bags when we ran out the host not so good. We think we should get some money back because it was terrible. I’ll never go back.
This has been an amazing annual tradition for our family and friends. We talked with our 10 year old kids about perhaps finding a different place for a change of pace but they were adamant that we come back to this cabin - approval from two 10 year old girls is pretty rare
Wonderful property - stayed here before too. Very well appointed, and private out on the peninsula. Great place for kids and for adults. Highly recommend! We will be back!
We love the property. Nice beach for kids and great yard that is secluded. It is a quiet get away!
We enjoy being close to Nisswa also!
We will go back!
Loved this home. We were a group of four couples and had more room then needed. Loved the property and beauty of lake. So peaceful. The pontoon was an added bonus for evening cruises. Several tried out the paddle boards and kayaks as well. Easy access to anything needed in town as well. Loved this property! Home was well stocked.
House worked perfect for us. Every family had there space when they wanted it, but then we also had plenty of space to be together. Kitchen items were great. Enjoyed the outside firepit, those chairs were the best. They did catch some fish also. Overall a good get-a-way!! Thanks for this.
We had a great stay at this property. Having so much space meant our group could spread out. We enjoyed the numerous gathering areas and well stocked kitchen. There were toys for kids, games, books, movies, and even a pool table. The swimming area was clear, shallow and sandy; great for the little kids and for the adults to enjoy some floating time. The pontoon was fun to have onsite to explore the lake and do some fishing. The large flat yard was great for yard games. During the daytime there were almost no bugs! We loved how secluded this property was. At the same time it was incredibly easy to get to town. The owner was very responsive. We made some great memories during our stay here.
The house was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. We had plenty of room both inside and out. The home was well furnished from the kitchen to all the rooms and bedrooms. The pontoon was fabulous to have along with the paddle boards and kayaks. We used them all every day. The host was quick to answer any questions although we didn't need much. I highly recommend this property.
kayaks. We used all
Lovely stay!! So many amenities, great open lay out and perfect yard with boat.
Our stay here was so wonderful! They had so many things to do in their property from kayaking, to pool, to watching movies in the movie room from their outstanding selection, to going on the pontoon. The lake is very shallow but we did find a couple spots where it got deep enough for us to go for a dip.
You could tell the cabin was well loved by the owners and that they had all around great taste. They have a very stocked kitchen so no need to brings things like salt, oil, and some other pantry items. The lay out of the home was lovely and open. Table large enough to sit around and play games for everyone, s’mores by the fire, tons of bath towels, everything you could hope for on a staycation! They have about 7 remotes for the living room tv but you only really need 1 of them (the white one.) can’t think of one negative thing to say!
