Last minute vacation plans. WOW!! The community is great for families of all ages. The cottage we rented was meticulously clean, had so many supplies to cook and serve meals. Really an unexpected great surprise.
We enjoyed the cottage and the gated community of Summer Village. It’s a perfect cottage for 2 guests. We would recommend getting a bath rug as the floor could become slippery. I know the bringing of sheets and towels is becoming popular at rental units but it should be mentioned before you book. I have stayed at many rentals through the area and supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels etc would be provided by the host. We were surprised to find extra supplies when we arrived as the letter explained we were responsible for the replacements. I would consider staying again at Summer Village.

Hi Gaye,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do appreciate it.
In the VRBO listing, you have to check off if you provide linens and towels and it is not checked off in our listing. Just to be sure people understand that before booking we have taken the extra step of adding this statement right in the property description:
"Just a heads-up: the cottage doesn’t provide sheets or towels, so you’ll need to bring your own or rent them locally."
I am sorry if you did not see that. We agree you should know before booking and by doing both of these things we do feel we have made ever effort to communicate it to the renter. We wish we could provide this service, but most cleaning services in the area do not have the staffing to offer this.
I am glad you would consider coming back! We hope to see you next summer.
Best,
Kathleen
