It was much easier to spot manatees from the upper balcony than in a kayak ! Weekends are a big party atmosphere and neighbor likes classic rock , but much quieter during Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. Pine Island beach is lovely and only 5 minutes away . The Blackstone grill made dinners easy . We launched from State park ( must reserve time and pay ) and it was worth it to float DOWNSTREAM after high tide the whole six miles to house ! Very enjoyable lazy float then

Beautiful vacation home in Spring Hill, FL right on the Weeki Wachee river. The home is newer with fun and tasteful decor and loaded with extras and amenities. Our group was very comfortable and we enjoyed the home/kitchen/grill/outdoor living during our stay. Having kayaks and stand-up paddleboards with the self-launch dock was wonderful and convenient. We kayaked, swam, fished, explored the river and watched the river life float by. Saw manatee, fish, birds. Friendly neighbors made it enjoyable as well. We had great weather during our stay and also liked having lots of nearby restaurants, grocery stores and shopping within 15 minutes of the vacation home. Highly communicative hosts, the house was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Wouldn't hesitate to book again when staying in the Spring Hill area. Thanks Tonya and Toby!

This house was very clean! It supplied everything we needed to drop our bags and play on the river. We saw manatees from the porch everyday and explored the area with ease. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked, water crafts were in good shape, and everything was tastefully decorated. Our family felt right at home. We would love to book again!

We always love our stay here! We saw manatees almost every day, which was such a treat. The fireplace was perfect for setting the cozy ambiance during a chilly weekend. We especially enjoyed the downstairs area with the TV for watching football. The kitchen is well stocked, which is great since we cook most of our meals. The space is very comfortable and welcoming. Don’t miss LaurieCue for some excellent BBQ while you’re in town!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this home and couldn’t be happier. This is our third stay with this host — we’ve stayed twice in their pink home, and Margaritaville is just as stellar.The house is decorated in a colorful theme that immediately makes you feel relaxed and on vacation. Parrot-heads will love this home! The Christmas tree and holiday touches were such a thoughtful surprise and made our stay feel extra special.The home is spotless, comfortable, and stocked with extended amenities that truly went above and beyond. This property has been one of my favorite stays of ALL time, and I travel a lot. Tonya and her Husband went above in beyond with timely communication from booking to check-in, and even questions while in the home for local recommendations. Their home is spacious, clean, decked out in fabulous Jimmy Buffet/Cheeseburger in Paradise/Margaritaville decor, and every kitchen appliance and tool needed to make a feast every night! It was absolutely wonderful. This was a memorable trip for our family and can’t wait to go back in the future! I highly recommend. Perfect as pictured!! The inside and outside were both clean and updated with Margaritaville themed decor throughout. All beds were comfy, living room furniture is roomy and solid with reclining chairs, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful! It gave us the the most amazing spot to see fish, dolphins, and manatees that would swim by all day long!! The under-deck screened patio was also an awesome hang out spot while we cooked on the stone top grill. The yard area was great for sunbathing and relaxing in Adirondack chairs at the edge of the river. Hospital Hole (where the manatees hang out) is only a short 5 minute paddle by kayak. the Upper Deck restaurant is a 1 minute walk through the neighborhood, and they have the BEST fried gator and conch fritters!! I’m missing so many details on this review, but there isn’t enough space ;-) HIGHLY recommend…I know we’ll be back!

We are local Floridians who treasure the nature coast. Our dream was to build a home next to a beautiful Florida river. We are amazed at the gorgeous views of sea life and sunsets every time we stay there. We are excited to share our dream with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We are walking distance to a wonderful waterfront restaurant, Upper Deck, and Roger's Park. Some of our favorite local hangouts are Bayport Inn, Tropical Grille, Silver Dolphin, and Drunken Mullet. It's only a short boat ride to the Gulf and Hospital Hole is right around the bend up river. It's a perfect location to enjoy the best that the nature coast has to offer!

What makes this property unique

We love the architecture in Key West and decided to bring this flair to the river. We lost our favorite musician, Jimmy Buffett, in Sept 2023, the same day we purchased the lot to build. It was only fitting to keep his memory alive in the style and art work in our river home. We added a Tiki Bar, corn hole game, and parrots throughout to keep the parrot head vibe going! We hope you enjoy it!!
