The location on the actual river is excellent!! The water is clear and manatees go by often. There are kayaks on site and plenty of chairs for sitting on the riverside. We will stay again if available.

Prepare to spend all of your time by the river or on it. We never wanted to leave to go into town because there was so much happening on the river, whether it was dolphins hunting for fish, so many manatees going up and down the river, and even a barred owl in the trees in the evening. The house has everything needed to hang out all day. Remember to check the tide schedule because the river does rise and fall with the tides, so animals go up or down the river with the flow. It was so much fun, we are considering coming back for our next vacation.

Great location on the river. Able to jump right in and swim. Good amount of kayaks for our number of people. The house and grounds were beautiful. Nice fenced yard for our pup, so he was safe (most important for us!). Our only complaint would be the kitchen wasn’t properly cleaned before we arrived. And found someone’s shorts on a shelf in the master bathroom.

The manager of the property, Summer, was super accessible and so accommodating. I have an issue with fragrances, and Summer spent the extra effort to make sure I was comfortable. She responded immediately to any communication on my end. The property was super clean and is situated at a perfect place on the river to swim or paddle. We had a wonderful five nights at the Clock House!

We rented this house to celebrate a birthday weekend and had an amazing time. Even though it was cold during the weekend, the house has heating, which was a 10/10 and made our stay very comfortable.Everything was super clean, and the house is very well equipped — they really thought of everything, from cooking essentials to plenty of towels and everything needed to enjoy the river. We felt very comfortable and would absolutely love to come back. Hopefully, we’ll return soon!

If you enjoyed your visit and have no concerns or complaints, why only 4 stars ? We have a plaque next to the front door explaining why we strive for a 5 star visit, with phone, text, and email contacts to let us know if anything is out of order. If you can only rate us 4 stars with no negatives, Please do Not come back to my property John

The host was very accommodating and answered all questions quickly. The house is right on the river. The house was in good shape. The problem is the property is for sale. Actually had someone walk on the property and asked to look at the house. Also was asked at least 100 times by people on the river. How much for the house? suggest the owner take down the for sale signs when someone staying there. Please be warned that you’re literally right on the river and it’s a narrow portion of the river so it can get very busy and very noisy. Also, there’s a small beach across from the house and people parked their boats there and start to party. So if you’re looking for a quiet stay this is not the place.
