Completed in 2008 is located only 65 meters from the SANDY BEACH in the Sea side village resort of Almyrida village near Chania town next to all amenities.

Its peaceful and private location means nice views to the sea and mountains. Just 3-4 MINUTES WALK from EVERYTHING ( many excellent tavernas, cafes and shops, ATM, ) this House is a great choice for those seeking value for money, comfortable accommodation, and easy access to the many local amenities.
All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The open plan lounge/kitchen is in the Ground floor and has all that you will need for a perfect holiday. There are washing machine, TV, CD , DVD players and books and baby toys for your use.
On the upper floor there are two double bedrooms, as well as a full bathroom. The bedrooms have a large balcony , mountain and countryside views.
This property has been very tastefully furnished and benefits from hot/cold A/C, and solar panels. All doors and windows are double-glazed with aluminium frames and shutters.

Nice house in best location

We spend 2 weeks holiday with our small kids in the house. The location is perfect, just around the corner of main area with tavernas and beach. The house was equipped with all necessary accessories.

A jewel in a little part of paradise

We were welcomed by George and shown around the villa, which was very impressive. The photos of the property did not do it justice, as it was tastefully decorated with thoughtfulness throughout. It was sparkling clean and very well maintained. Little touches such as toiletries, beach towels and the welcome pack were so much appreciated. It was close to everything. We loved the beach and restaurants and would have no hesitation in returning. I fell in love with Crete and especially the lovely village of Almyrida. Top marks to Vana and George for offering such a superb place to stay.

A great place, quiet, but centrally located and fully equipped

We (a family of three with a 16 year old from Germany) spent lovely two weeks in July 2016 in this small house only 50m away from the beach, restaurants and shopping facilities. Never the less it is not noisy. What makes this apartment very special is the very warm welcome and the complete equipment prepared by George and Vana. When we arrived we found a welcome package of fruit, bread, marmalade, coffee, cold water and a welcoming bottle of wine that made us at home from the first minute. The house is not only decorated nicely but also had such loving amenities like shampoo, beach towels , beach bag, some hats and flip-flops, games, books and DVD’s, and an espresso machine. Concerning the surroundings one does not have a sea view but as one is situated 60 seconds away from the next beach front café this is definitely no drawback. The town of Almyrida is lively, but there is no organized mass tourism noticeable. On the whole we can truly recommend this place.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und voll ausgestattet mit allem, was man in der Küche benötigt. Bei unserer Ankunft entnahmen wir den Schlüssel aus dem Schlüsselsafe. Wir wurden überrascht mit frischem Obst, Wein, Wasser, Eiern, Käse und Schinken, Toastbrot, Süßigkeiten und Chips.... Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Haus weiter.

Cozy home away from home

We had a wonderful vacation in Almyrida and enjoyed our stay in Vana and Georges' house very much. To find the kitchen and the fridge stocked with plenty of food and drinks for our first meal was a pleasant surprise. Also the place was stocked with all the things you might need during a holiday. An our host was always helpful and ready to give us tipps and recommendations for restaurants, trips etc. The location of the house is ideal - the bakery, a little supermarket, the restaurants and (most importantly) the beaches of Almyrida bay are just around the corner. We had a great time!

Ueppig ausgestattetes Ferienhaus

Neben einer Flasche Cretischen Weins waren auch Toastbrot, Butter, Honig, Kaffee, Milch, Zucker, Schafskäse und viel Obst bereits vorhanden. Auch das vorhandene Geschirr und die vielen Haushaltsgeräte wie Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Expressoautomat, Milchaufschäumer, etc. liesen keine Wünsche offen. Viele, in Ferienwohnungen nicht übliche Dinge, wie Duschshampos, Zahnbürsten, Badelatschen in verschiedenen Größen, Badetücher für den Strand, Strohhüte, Badematten, Flickzeug, Rasierer, Verbandsmaterial, ets. runden die Ausstattung ab. Einzig, die Zimmer sind für vier Erwachsene etwas eng, das fünfte "Notbett" im Wohnzimmer eigentlich nicht zu gebrauchen. Wir verbrachten hier 10 wunderbare Ferientage.

Séjour très agréable

Nous sommes arrivés dans une maison très propre et avec tout confort. Le logement est juste à côté des commerces et de la plage et les enfants se sont régalés à aller acheter des glaces chaque jour à trois maisons de la location. Nous avons eu le plaisir à mi séjour d'avoir une femme de ménage sans frais supplémentaires qui nous a changé les draps (bien agréable car quand même remplis de sable malgré les douches), les serviettes de toilettes et le ménage entier de la maison. Connexion internet illimitée que les enfants ont fort apprécié! Même les serviettes de plage sont fournies!! Bref à recommander sans souci avec des propriétaires qui ont toujours répondu très rapidement à tous les messages. Pour les visites, le village est à proximité de la grande voie et nous sommes à 20 mn de Chania, 1h30 du lagon de Balos et 2h de Knossos. Bon séjour à vous!

Perfect home for the perfect vacation

I was very fortunate to spend 3 months at George and Vana’s place in Almyrida – and it changed my life! Almyrida is the perfect location in Crete – the people are kind and friendly and, as I was travelling alone, people took me under their wing and made me part of their family. The apartment is well situated just half a block from the sea and within walking distance of all shops and tavernas. George was kind enough to pick me up from the airport, which made it so easy after a grueling flight from Canada. The place was immaculately clean and like new. The living room area was smaller than I imagined but very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is very large and was well stocked (they even had picked up some groceries for me!). The bedrooms and bathrooms are large by European standards. It was so comfortable that I felt like I was coming home when I returned from a day at the beach. It was a terribly cold and wet winter for Crete this year, which caused some electrical and plumbing issues but George had someone out to fix things immediately. They even brought me some extra stuff in the middle of my stay to make sure I was comfortable. George and Vana are the perfect hosts and I would highly recommend staying in their place. I certainly will stay there again.
