Great Hosts!

The hosts were very prompt at getting back to us when we messaged them about any information and questions. The house was very clean and it was a wonderful weekend in Bass.

The house was blazing hot inside upon our arrival at 4 pm and did not cool down at all the first day. We found a big fan in a closet and used that to help circulate the air. The "attic" room was truly in the attic and accessible ONLY by a pull down ladder like are used to access the attic in a garage (this was NOT clearly stated in the description). This was problematic for the adults that were to use that space. In the bedroom that has 2 queen beds one of them had a broken box spring. I called the property manager Jane, and she was great, but unsure if a replacement box spring could be found prior to our check out. The stove cook top and oven didn't heat well. Not much in the way of pots and pans (most had the Teflon scratched off). Other than that then house was fine. The decks were nice with a nice view. The dock was a ways away...certainly not on the water. The driveway is steep and uneven. Parking is tight if you have more than 3 cars. Absolutely NO room if you have a trailer or boat that isn't being left in the water. LOVED Bass Lake!

This cabin was nice with a view to the lake. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and eating on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The inside was cozy and clean except the stairs and perhaps partially the floors on the main floor, and although that was inconvenient for the first day, the host responded to our request to clean them in a timely manner. The bathrooms did not have shampoo and conditioner only body wash, which in one of the bathrooms was almost empty. We didn’t request any because some of us brought our own and I just forgot to request it, but we think that’s an essential item every rental should provide. We saw raccoons on the main deck one of the nights, which was pretty cool, what is not so cool is the mess they make if you put your trash out in the provided bins in the smaller deck, but that seems to be a problem all around Bass Lake. Beware, driveway is very steep to get to parking. Once you get there, parking is flat. Overall we enjoyed our stay, appreciate the hosts’ responses to our needs and we think this is a beautiful location to enjoy the lake.
