Fantastic cabin, well located in the June Lake loop. Ian was a fantastic host, with great recommendation. We very much enjoyed our time and will be back.
Ian was a great host. Took his time explaining things about the home and the surrounding hikes along with local hot spots for food etc. The home is just gorgeous and so creatively thought out. The location is just spectacular, with the home built within the mountain and towering mountains to surround. Timed the fall weather perfect and hope to come back next year and explore some more of the amazing Eastern Sierras. Loved our stay.
We very much enjoyed staying at Ian's log cabin for 2 nights during the peak of Fall foliage. Ian built this cabin with great attention to detail, with many southwestern touches that were beautiful to experience. The views of Carson peak outside the windows were stunning. The cabin was spotless, very private, well appointed, and felt like home. We look forward to returning someday.
Ian made the arrival process very comfortable. His communication was excellent and made us feel very relaxed. Also he was so helpful in explaining all that was necessary to make our stay at the house hassle free.
This is the second time we have stayed at IAN ‘s place -he is an awesome host and the house is very clean and well stocked, we would stay again! We also love the location as the June Lake Loop is very beautiful and has the fishing , boating and mammoth is close!
The Mountain Cabin’s location is outstanding with stunning views of the Sierra Mountains right from the cabin.Mono Lake and the June Lake Loop are close by.The Mountain Cabin itself was clean throughout and very comfortable to return to each of our five nights that we stayed there.Thank you Ian for providing such an outstanding experience for my wife and I.We look forward to staying at the Mountain Cabin again when we visit the eastern Sierras.Larry & Cheryl
My husband and I stayed at this lovely, romantic cabin in the heart of June Lake. The views ot he mountains were lovely, the cabin cozy and near to all the sights and activities we had hoped to see while there. A walk to the Fern Trail hike and to the Eagles Resort Restaurant. Town is also very close, as is Yosemite. Ian was a great host, responsive and even provided us a bottle of wine! The cabin itself was lovely, lots of beautiful wood and direct view of the mountains. June Lake itself is quite lovely as are the other lakes in the immediate area. We would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The views beautiful. Ian was very friendly and helpful and provided us with good hiking recommendations- which we hiked 2 of the trails he mentioned.
We camped overnight prior to our cabin stay just down the road and this lovely cabin was the highlight of our stay as the annual fishmas blizzard came to town.
The place was fantastic! Super clean, super quiet and a great view…couldn’t ask for more. We did a couple days on the east side of the park so the cabin was in a great location. Highly recommend and if we ever make our way back out here again we would totally stay here again!
What a fantastic stay! The cabin was perfect and the location was spot on. We plan on staying here again in the future. Also, Ian was wonderful! Offered some great ideas of places to go and eat! Thank you Ian!
