The cottage was a great mini vacation for the family. Close access to the beach and the Strand. We didn’t want to live the mini oasis.

This place is magic! So much character and charm! Prefect location, close enough to the beach but far enough away that it's quite. Loved the pool for the non beach days. Very clean, well maintained property. EVERY TRIP BACK, WE'LL STAY HERE!

We absolutely loved our stay at Summerwind!! The pool was the perfect temp and so warm! The layout was great for the 6 of us. Great location and so much to do in the area! I cannot recommend Summerwind enough!

Galveston Getaway

Summer wind was an awesome place to stay while we were in Galveston. Centrally located allowing us to visit Moody Gardens, the Polar Express experience, and great dining on the island. We hope to come back stay here again.

Polar express weekend

One of the best places we have ever stayed at. The outdoor space is perfect. Cant say enough good things about our stay.

5 Stars – Perfect Getaway!

The house was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. There were plenty of toiletries and helpful kitchen items provided, which made our stay easy and convenient. The pool was a definite highlight, and we also enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. The host left very detailed instructions on how to operate everything, which made settling in a breeze. Check-in and check-out were both super easy none of those long lists of tasks some hosts require at the end of a stay. There was plenty of room for our group of six adults and a 15-year-old everyone had space to relax and feel comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. We’d absolutely stay here again!

This was a fantastic property just a short walk from the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped for family meals and there was plenty of space for our group of six to have privacy. The pool area stole the show - clean, refreshing, and plentiful shade - creating a relaxing vibe we didn't want to leave. Host Gregg was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay! There was room for everyone. The 2 queen beds upstairs are semi private which we were expecting them to be in the same space. The pool was great! The location was great as well.
