Brilliant stay in a lovely house
We had a wonderful stay. The house is cute and homely. Kitchen is really well stocked - great for getting together for a family meal. Location is great - near key roads in the Cape. Amy the host was brilliant at keeping in touch and helping with information. A great stay.

Great vacation rental
Very pleased we chose this property for our vacation, it was excellent! As per other reviews the house is exactly as pictured, clean and very inviting. We were able to relax comfortably in the living room, the kitchen was open and had everything we could possibly need whilst there...we particularly loved the coffee machine! The yard was very tidy and spacious, and had the weather been more favorable we would have loved to have made use of the barbecue grill, seating and outdoor shower. The garage is also stocked with a variety of things to use...our son loved heading to the nearby park to play basketball. The property location also suited us as it was not far from Route 6 and everything we planned on visiting was within an hours drive. The owner was extremely helpful and provided a vast amount of information on things to do in the local area. Amy was also extremely quick at responding to any queries we had. Should we stay in Cape Cod in the future we will definitely look to use this property again

Perfect
We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay for the start of our holiday. The house was perfect for all of our needs. Amy and Barry have literally thought of everything you may need. The house is very spacious, very clean and in a great and quiet neighbourhood which is central to so many places in Cape Cod. We were travelling with our 17-month-old daughter and everything a child could need was provided - cot, high chair, plastic utensils, toys etc. Outside there is a fabulous, spacious garden with a grill and outdoor shower. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but most facilities, including a supermarket, are a short drive away. Amy was so easy to liaise with before our trip and answered all of our queries. After our stay, Amy asked if there was anything she can do to improve the house for guests and we literally couldn't think of a single thing!! Just fabulous.

Wonderful Trip!
This was a great weekend to the Cape to visit our son who is a student at the Maritime Academy. My parents joined us for their first time in town. We loved the home and location. Everything is there that you will need! We loved being able to prepare a home cooked meal for our family in the kitchen. Lighting in the home was special and an appreciated touch. It was a wonderful experience.

About the host

Hosted by Amy Pirro

Host profile image
We currently live in Lagrangeville, NY. My husband and I are both teachers: he is a retired middle school music teacher and I teach science research in high school.

I started my teaching career on Cape Cod and have also worked as an environmental educator/researcher for the National Seashore, Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary, and Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. I have dreamed about owning a Cape Cod house since I was a child and used to vacation in Dennisport with my parents and sister. Now my dream is reality and my husband and I want to share our home with you!

Why they chose this property

Cape Cod is my favorite place in the whole world. I vacationed every summer on the Cape as a child, had grandparents that retired in East Dennis, held summer jobs during college, started my teaching career in Falmouth, was proposed to by my husband on Great Island in Wellfleet, and now have a second home in South Yarmouth. When I cross the Bourne Bridge and come on Cape, I always feel a sense of peace and of coming home. I hope you will end up loving this beautiful place and our new home as much as I do.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood our home is in is perfect in so many ways. It is quiet but close to everything: shopping, restaurants, sound and bay beaches, churches, and beautiful Long Pond. When we found this house we couldn't get over its location. The house itself is also perfect in so many ways: sunny deck, beautiful gardens, large, new kitchen, huge living room, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a cozy sunroom, and lots of closet space! Plus, we've got the most essential component of a Cape home: an outdoor shower!
